Ben Gavin (Derek Baldwin): An original cast member, Gavin’s alter ego killed off last week and last aired on Wednesday, May 20. The actor told TV Insider that once the shock wore off, he took the news of his departure in stride, saying, “Derek didn’t have a family, didn’t have parents around, and he didn’t have a job, so I knew there was a chance of being an expendable character.”
Cecilia Specht (Lia Garland): Specht, who made her BTG debut in February, will air for the final time this week.
General Hospital
Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis): Mansi, who made her Port Charles debut in May 2023, has left the show after electing not to renew her contract. The Daytime Emmy-winning actress confirmed her departure to former Soap Opera Digest Editorial Director Stephanie Sloane in her newsletter, explaining that she had made the “difficult decision” out of a desire to focus on new projects and to travel, as her husband, producer Matt McInnis, is current working on a series that is filming abroad. Mansi taped her final episode as Kristina in April, and her last airdate will be sometime in June. Alongside a photo of herself outside the show’s studio snapped by on-screen brother Rory Gibson (Michael), Mansi wrote on Instagram, “Adventure was had. Adventures ahead.
Real-Life Status
Baby Makes Three: Sawandi Wilson (Isaiah, GH) and his wife, Anna Eilinsfeld, announced on Memorial Day that they are expecting their first child. The new addition is due in August.
For a Good Cause: A Martinez (ex-Cruz, Santa Barbara) revealed last week that the livestream conversation he and former SB leading lady Marcy Walker are having on June 7, to which tickets are priced at $100, is actually a fundraiser to support Walker, who is facing a serious heath challenge and the costs associated with it. He explained, “Marcy has been ill and is working hard to get well and in the process has come face to face with the financial challenges that so often plague those of us unlucky enough to need medical care in our country.”

Cosette Abinante (Scout, GH) has been cast in the Paramount+ series Frisco King, a spin-off of Tulsa King, which is scheduled to debut in 2027. The series also stars Samuel L. Jackson and was created by Taylor Sheridan, an actor and screenwriter who created the hit series Yellowstone…. James Patrick Stuart has completed filming a role opposite Oscar-nominated actress Cathy Moriarty in the indie thriller Boot Lake, Deadline reports.
