The soap revolves around the drama between the Newmans, Abbotts, Chancellors, and Winters families, featuring corporate intrigue, thrilling adventure, and stirring romance. Y&R has endured as the number one-rated daytime drama since October 3, 1988.

Y&R has earned 11 Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series, and 15 of its cast members have won acting Emmys.
