Emily O'Brien

British-born Emily O’Brien moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and got her big break when she was cast as Jana Hawkes on Young and Restless in 2006. Before her exit in 2011, she racked up three Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Younger Actress. In 2020, O’Brien joined the cast of Days of Our Lives as Gwen Rizczech and earned another Emmy nod for her work. In October 2023, she took over the role of Theresa Donovan for a couple of short stints before returning as Gwen in July 2025. The actress has also done a lot of voice work for animated series and videogames.
