Rory Gibson

Born in Long Beach, CA, Rory Gibson grew up in Bakersfield, CA and San Pedro, CA, splitting his time between his parents’ households. His late father, Gary Gibson, was a professional football player, but Rory was a movie buff from an early age and ultimately dropped out of college to move to Los Angeles in pursuit of a showbiz career. After appearing in A Night to Regret and Twisted Twin, he landed his first big daytime role — Noah Newman, son of supercouple Nick and Sharon — on Young and Restless in 2021. He made his final appearance on Y&R in 2023. In May 2025, he made his General Hospital debut in the pivotal role of Michael Corinthos, last played by Chad Duell.

In 2023, Gibson appeared in the space opera Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire, and in 2025, he was cast as Arial in the sci-fi film Fugitive From Asteron. A lover of the outdoors, Gibson practices muay thai. In 2022, he got engaged to model Alicia Ruelas, his high school sweetheart, whom he met when he was 16.
