Melissa Reeves

New Jersey native Melissa Reeves made her soap debut as Jade Perkins on Santa Barbara in 1984. Following her nine-month stint, she nabbed the role that shot her to daytime fame: Jennifer Horton on Days of Our Lives. Reeves has been nominated for two Daytime Emmys and won four Soap Opera Digest Awards: Outstanding Supercouple (with Matthew Ashford) in 1991, Best Wedding and Best Love Story (with Ashford) in 1992, and Hottest Female Star in 1994. The actress has come and gone from the show over the years and currently resides in Nashville with her husband, actor/musician Scott Reeves, with whom she shares two children, Emily and Larry, and a growing brood of grandchildren.
