General Hospital

Cosette Abinante (Emily “Scout” Cain): The role has been recast, and Abinante is exiting the show after a four-year run as Scout.

Marc Forget (Pascal): Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) butler/henchman made a run for it last week with a little help from Sonny (Maurice Benard) after Lucas (Van Hansis) gave Sidwell reason to believe that Pascal was Marco’s () killer. This marked the end of Forget’s nearly year-long tenure in the role. Chris McKenna (Jack) praised his exiting co-star on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “True Story- A year ago, @marcforget  wrapped an episode after a couple weeks filming and the cast and crew applauded as it was meant to be his final ep. I found him in the hallway to say ‘Hey, I just watched your stuff. I just wanted to tell you, you’re really good.’ He thanked me and said ‘But I guess that’s it for Pascal, they just applauded and said goodbye.’ I said, ‘They don’t know! I bet you come back.’ A month later I saw him on set and said, ‘Told ya!!’”

Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones): Storms made her GH debut in 2005 after a successful run as DAYS’s Belle Black from 1999-2004 and returned to the show briefly in February and March after taking a six-month hiatus. The actress is now based in Nashville and indicated in an Instagram post that she might not be returning to the role of Maxie. She wrote, “I can’t say I will feel comfortable heading back to Los Angeles and returning to work.”

Real-Life Status

Injury Report: GH star Gary James Fuller (James) is on the mend following a health scare. On Instagram, the young actor explained, “What started as a ride on my mini bike turned into a trip to the trauma center, two surgeries, and almost a week in the hospital. Definitely not how I planned to spend my week.” He assured fans that he was “doing well and getting stronger every day. The doctors, nurses, and hospital staff took amazing care of me, and I’m really thankful for everyone who helped and everyone who sent messages, prayers, and support.” He voiced his appreciation for his colleagues at the show, as well, writing, “One of the coolest parts of all of this was seeing how many people were rooting for me. My General Hospital family checked in with FaceTime calls, messages, and encouragement. I got so much love from my castmates, casting, wardrobe, my studio teachers, agents, manager, and so many people behind the scenes. It meant a lot to know I had such a big team cheering me on while I recovered.”
