Steve Burton made his daytime debut in 1988 with the role of Harris Michaels on Days of Our Lives, but his big break was signing with General Hospital in 1991 to play Jason, a role that earned him a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 1998. After 21 years in Port Charles, Burton parted ways with his mobster alter ego in 2012. From 2013-17, he appeared on Young and Restless as Dylan McAvoy, netting another Supporting Acor Daytime Emmy. He returned to GH from 2017-21, then reprised DAYS’s Harris in 2022 and from 2023-2024 before making another GH comeback in 2024. In addition to his daytime career, Burton has voiced a videogame character (Final Fantasy’s Cloud Strife), appeared in feature films (The Last Castle), and toured the country with his band, Port Chuck. Married to Michelle Lundstrom since 2025, Burton is the proud father of three children from his previous union: daughters Makena and Brooklyn and son Jack.
