Susan Walters

Susan Walters worked as a model before getting her big break playing Lorna Forbes on the ABC soap Loving from 1983-86. After appearing in prime time series like Hotel, Dear John, and Melrose Place, she returned to daytime in 2001 to take over the role of Diane Jenkins on Young and Restless, and played the vixen until 2004, with a brief appearance in 2010. Fans may also recognize the actress from her roles in series like The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, The Flash, and Good Trouble, as well as a memorable guest turn as the character Jerry called “Mulva” on Seinfeld. Walters returned to Y&R in March 2022 and earned the Supporting Actress Daytime Emmy Award in 2025. Walters and her husband, Linden Ashby (ex-Cameron, Y&R), are the proud parents of two daughters, Grace (b. June 1991) and Savannah (b. November 1992).
