Kicking off her caeer at a young age, McCoy logged credits on television (The ThundermansWalk the Prank), in films (TenuredThe Kids From 62-F), and in national commercials and print modeling campaigns before her big break came in 2015: At the age of 12, she was tapped to take over the role of Josslyn Jacks on General Hospital. While juggling work, school and playing competitive beach volleyball, McCoy earned Daytime Emmy Award nominations in 2019 and 2020 in the Outstanding Younger Performer category and took home the coveted prize in 2023. Born in Los Angeles, McCoy is a graduate of The Marlborough School and briefly studied philosophy at the University of Southern California (where she played beach volleyball for the Lady Trojans) before leaving college to focus on her acting career.
