Susan Lucci

Susan Lucci, one of the most recognizable actresses ever to appear on a soap, burst onto the daytime scene in 1970 in her signature role, Erica Kane on All My Children. She portrayed Erica until AMC’s final episode in 2011. Over the course of her career, she received 21 Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress, winning in 1999 on her 19th try. Lucci is also a Soap Opera Digest Award winner and received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys in 2023. She is also known for her work on shows like Devious Maids and Army Wives. She and late husband Helmut Huber share two children, Liza (who played Gwen on Passions) and Andreas.
