Beyond The Gates

Jacinte Blankenship (Regina): The mystery of June’s (Jasmine Burke) past heats up with the introduction of Regina. The actress’s credits include roles in Will Trent, Found and Sweet Magnolias.

Bonita Brisker (Sharon): As the comeback concert for The Articulettes draws closer, tensions rise among the women.

Jasmine Burke (June): June confronts someone from her past.

Jason Graham (Douglas McBride): Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) struggles to keep the peace between her lover Joey (Jon Lindstrom) and her husband Doug.

Maria Howell (Tracy): Sharon and Tracy lock horns with Anita (Tamara Tunie) prior to their reunion concert.

Jon Lindstrom (Joey Armstrong): Tensions mount between Joey and Doug. How far will things escalate between the two men entangled in their feelings for Vanessa?

Jaden Lucas Miller (Tyrell Richardson): The young man has a heart-to-heart talk with his great grandfather Vernon (Clifton Davis).

Bold and Beautiful

Luisa Beccara (Herself): This week’s fashion show sequences, shot on location in Italy, will feature the famed designer. “My brand is very Italian and very niche, but at the same time represents the Mediterranean spirit and elegance,” she told TV Insider.

Miles Anderson (Foster): The book shop owner interacts with Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) this week. The actor’s prime-time credits include NCIS: Origins, Hunters and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Maggie Carney (Rita Lesley): EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) trusted assistant will be on hand to help her boss once again.

Stacy Haiduk (Susan Banks): EJ’s mother has a warning for him. Along with Chad (Billy Flynn), EJ questions his mother’s newfound power.

Alice Halsey (Rachel Black): Rachel’s grandmother Marlena (Deidre Hall) has some questions for her.

Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera): The eldest DiMera continues his quest to reclaim his family’s legacy company from Titan. Look for him to scheme with Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and converse with Gwen (Emily O’Brien).

Cosette Abinante (Scout Cain): Scout attended the dramatic wedding when her father Drew (Cameron Mathison) tried to marry Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).

Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan): Jason’s (Steve Burton) son gets questioned by his surrogate father figure, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).

Marc Forget (Pascal): Forget, whose extensive credits include roles on television series like NCIS and Ray Donovan and feature films like Ford v Ferrari, will make his debut this week as Pascal in scenes with Kelly Thiebaud (Britt). In 2002, he briefly played a trucker on As the World Turns.

Cyrus Hobbi (Yuri): The Quartermaines’ loyal employee airs again this week.

Michael E. Knight (Martin Grey): Laura’s (Genie Francis) lawyer brother comes across some intriguing information.

Carolyne Maraghi (Greta): Greta, the courier tasked with delivering the backpack involved in the mystery of Professor Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) potentially illegal activities, popped up again this week, meeting up with Britt.

Nicole Paggi (Maxie Jones): Paggi will once again substitute for Maxie’s regular portrayer, Kirsten Storms, in scenes that will air on July 30. Viewers can expect to see her also pop up in August before Storms returns to finish out her storyline; Storms will then be taking a lengthy break from the show.

Millie and Maddie Ingle (Aria Porter-Copeland): Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will have her daughter with her in the park when the two run into Daniel (Michael Graziadei).

Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair): Cane’s (Billy Flynn) lawyer continues advising him this week.

Valarie Pettiford (Amy Lewis): Amy will be receiving the worst news a mother can hear this week when Nate (Sean Dominic) has to tell her about Damian’s (Jermaine Rivers) murder, which occurred while Damian was in Nice.

Who’s Going

Bold and Beautiful

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester Finnegan): Steffy let her husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan), know that she wants to get away for a while following the drama with Luna (Lisa Yamada) and said a round of good-byes on the July 28 episode, so it appears fans have their answer as to how the show intends to accommodate the actress’s maternity leave. Wood announced in March that she was in the third trimester of her fifth pregnancy.

Conner Floyd (Chance Chancellor): The actor, who joined the CBS soap back in November 2021, has ended his run after Chance was shot to death by Carter (Vincent Stalba) trying to rescue Lily (Christel Khalil). The actor has already reported for duty on his next job — playing Chad on DAYS. Prior to Floyd, the character, who was born on the show back in 1988 to Nina (Tricia Cast) and Phillip Chancellor III (Thom Bierdz), was played from 2019-21 by Donny Boaz (who was briefly replaced by Melissa Ordway’s (Abby) husband, Justin Gaston in 2020), from 2009-11 by John Driscoll, from 2000-01 by Penn Badgley, from 1996-99 by Nicholas Pappone, from 1995-96 by Alex D. Linz, from 1993-95 by Courtland Mead, in 1993 by Thomas Dekker, from 1989-93 by Scott and Shaun Markley, from 1988-89 by Chuckie and Kenny Gravino and in 1988 by Andrew Clark Rogers.

Vincent Stalba (Carter): After it was revealed that he had killed Damian, Carter took Lily hostage and killed Chance, who had tried to intervene. Carter then took his own life, wrapping up Stalba’s run on the show.

 

Casting About

Jackée Harry (Paulina, DAYS) will be voicing Granny Williams while John Stamos (ex-Blackie, GH) will be voicing Tony Stark’s (also known as Ironman) dad, Howard, in the Marvel preschool series Iron Man and His Awesome Friends. The animated series premieres Monday, Aug. 11 on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel and the next day, the first 10 episodes will be available on Disney+…. Robert Christopher Riley (Carlton, BTG) joins Debbi Morgan (ex-Angie, All My Children) in the Lifetime flick Christmas Everyday…. Vernee Watson (Stella, GH) appears in the short film Recovering, which is screening at the LA Shorts International Film Festival.

 

Industry News

A Show of Faith: It was announced last week that DAYS received a two-year pickup from Peacock. The show premiered on NBC on November 8, 1965, so the renewal will take the soap, which now streams exclusively on Peacock, through season 63. Emily O’Brien (Gwen) toasted the news on her Instagram account and wrote, “Celebrations were abound on set today! Congratulations to the entire team, cheers to 2 more years!” Tina Huang (Melinda) also chimed in on Instagram by writing, “Congratulations to my @dayspeacock family on the 13 Daytime Emmy noms and the Season 62 & 63 renewal! Sending a HUGE thank you to all of our incredible fans! Thank you for tuning in. 📺”

Fun And Games: On Thursday, July 31, actors from both GH and Y&R will be competing against each other in ABC’s prime-time edition of Celebrity Family Feud. The episode, hosted by Steve Harvey, features Y&R’s Lauralee Bell (Christine), Melissa Claire Egan(Chelsea), Bryton James (Devon), Joshua Morrow (Nick) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) facing off against GH’s Maurice Benard(Sonny), Tanisha Harper (Jordan), Finola Hughes (Anna), Rena Sofer (Lois) and Donnell Turner (Curtis).

A Good Cause: Kate Linder (Esther, Y&R), the celebrity ambassador for the ALS Network, is hosting an afternoon of art to benefit the ALS Network’s research and care programs, and to honor her late mother, artist Molly Wolveck. Linder and Wolveck became involved with the charity after Linder’s late brother-in-law Scott Buzzell was diagnosed with ALS. “I’m thrilled that my mom’s artwork will once again be able to help people with ALS through the ALS Network,” said Linder in a statement. “I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there for a wonderful afternoon filled with amazing art from my mom and from other artists so that we can make even more progress towards finding a cure for ALS.” The reception and art sale, which will include works by Wolveck — donated from the collections of Craig Byrd and Roy Oldenkamp — will be held on August 17 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., which conveniently follows the show’s 2025 fan event, taking place the day before. Constance Marie (ex-Nikki, Santa Barbara) will appear in season 2 of Netflix’s A Man on the Inside with Ted Danson (ex-Tom, Somerset; ex-Mitch, The Doctors).

Real-Life Status

Health Update: Marcus Coloma (ex-Nikolas, GH) let fans know that he is doing great post-heart surgery and has been getting his body back in shape as well. “I think the biggest gift out of all of this was an appreciation for life, and friends, and for people out there who helped me get back up,” he told his followers.

 

In Memoriam

Hulk Hogan, the retired professional wrestler, actor and reality star, passed away at 71 on July 24, of cardiac arrest. Born Terry Gene Bollea, Hogan appeared on Search For Tomorrow in 1985 as himself, sharing scenes with Lisa Peluso (ex-Wendy) and Jeffrey Meek (ex-Quinn), when he was in town for a match.
