General Hospital Recap: Brook Lynn Catches Shirtless Chase with Willow, Carly Plots Against Josslyn
The Monday, August 17, episode of General Hospital saw Carly (Laura Wright) recruit Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) in her quest to keep Josslyn (Eden McCoy) from returning to the WSB, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) by Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) moving back into the gatehouse, Lucas (Van Hansis) and Joe (Jonathan Bennett) showing interest in the same apartment, and more. Keep on reading for all the details.
Mother Knows Best?
Carly invited Hudson over to her house, where she ordered him to sabotage the search for a new CEO at Jasper Jacks Enterprises so Josslyn would have no choice but to take the position herself. Hudson explained that there was no point because Josslyn was blowing him off, but Carly pointed out that Jax wanted Hudson to protect his daughter who almost died, not the company.
When Lucas arrived, Carly ushered Hudson out and told him where to find Josslyn’s apartment. Carly explained her rationale for meddling in Josslyn’s life to Lucas, and he advised his sister that she and Josslyn would both be better off if Carly stopped trying to control her daughter.

Take This Job And Shove It
At the boathouse, Josslyn asked Michael to back her up against Jax and Carly’s plan for her to take over Jasper Jacks Enterprises, voicing her desire to return to the field as a WSB agent. Understanding Carly’s concern, Michael said he couldn’t do as she asked. However, he agreed to vet the CEO candidates once Josslyn received the shortlist. In return, Michael wanted his sister to stay out of his business with Willow now that she was back on the Quartermaine property. Reluctantly, Josslyn conceded.
When Hudson tracked Josslyn down at the boathouse, she introduced Michael as her consultant and instructed Hudson to give him the list of candidates. After Michael left, Hudson tried to convince Josslyn to take over JJE herself, challenging her to prove the doubters wrong. Joss accused Hudson of being coached by her father on what to say to manipulate her and was adamant about wanting nothing to do with the company.

Moving Day
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Tracy blindsided Brook Lynn with the news that Willow had moved back into the gatehouse. Brook Lynn was worried that Willow’s presence would destroy any progress she and Chase had made in prioritizing their marriage, but Tracy firmly believed that Brook Lynn and Chase were stronger than ever.
While jogging (shirtless) on the estate, Chase found Willow in the gatehouse and was thrilled to learn she was living there again. Rather than divulge that Michael was blackmailing her, Willow framed the move as a mutual decision between her and Michael for Wiley and Amelia’s benefit, and was firm that she would not be a pushover this time around to Tracy and Michael.

After helping Yuri move boxes into the gatehouse, Chase stuck around to help Willow unpack and told her that now that he was a father, he understood the lengths she’d gone to get her kids back. When Brook Lynn arrived at the door with a housewarming plant, she was crushed to see Willow and a shirtless Chase in a close moment.
Pushing through her disappointment, Brook Lynn entered the house to deliver the flowers and staked her claim on Chase with the reminder that they were taking Phoebe to the lake. Later, Michael showed up and reminded Willow that she could have access to the kids as long as she followed his rules.
Back in the kitchen, Tracy asked Yuri to keep a close eye on Willow and report back if he noticed anything alarming regarding Chase — especially if Chase and Willow were alone together. Tracy wasn’t happy to hear that the two were already alone because Chase was helping Willow unpack.

House Hunters
Lucas ran into Joe at G.H., and they playfully razzed each other over their recent softball game. As they shared an update on their respective apartment searches, Lucas revealed he’d just signed a lease and Joe replied that he had an appointment with Lucy to view a place later.
Upon hearing that Michael was again single, Lucy rushed to the pool to share the news with Serena. Lucy encouraged her daughter to be a shoulder for Michael to cry on as he nursed his broken heart, but Serena insisted she and Michael wouldn’t have a romantic relationship. She’d rather focus on working at Deception and prove to Michael that they deserved Maxie’s shares. Lucy begrudgingly agreed to stop pushing Serena and Michael together as long as her daughter kept an open mind about finding love.

Later, Lucy met Joe for their appointment — neither of them aware that the apartment was the same unit that Lucas had just signed a lease for.
