The Bold and the Beautiful: Did Steffy and Carter Sleep Together?
The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Friday cliffhanger left fans anxious to see if Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) would have sex after they both drowned their sorrows over their troubled marriages. But did they actually sleep together on the August 17 episode?
Did Steffy and Carter Give In to Temptation?
Last week, Steffy flew back to Los Angeles from Monaco in a huff, furious that her husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan), came to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) defense after following them abroad. She got drunk on the flight and wound up alone in her office at Forrester.
Meanwhile, Carter was reeling from Daphne’s (Murielle Hilaire) decision to end their marriage and return to France after learning that she was unable to carry his child. He also got drunk in the office — and later found Steffy sitting alone in the dark.
When the action resumed on Monday’s show, Carter noted Steffy wasn’t wearing her wedding rings. She explained that her marriage was over and had come to the office because she didn’t want to face her mother, Taylor (Rebecca Budig), in her inebriated state.
Sitting in a chair opposite her, holding a fresh bottle of whisky, Carter contemplated his own wedding ring. He poured drinks for both of them and Steffy complained about Finn letting her down by letting Sheila back into their lives. “I don’t trust him,” she sighed. “I’ve lost complete faith in Finn.”
Steffy soon noticed that Carter also appeared to be a bad way. He revealed that Daphne had left him and pulled out her wedding ring from his pocket. “She’s gone,” he lamented. “It’s over… I promised to love her and cherish her and protect her, but she won’t let me. And now she’s gone.”
Carter and Steffy found common ground — they both felt let down and abandoned by the people they loved. For her part, Steffy noted, she’d also nearly been fired by her father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and she’d been “stabbed in the back” by Katie (Heather Tom) and Hope (Annika Noelle). “There is only so much more I can take,” she declared. “I am done. I can’t do this. I can’t do this anymore.”
As she worked herself into a frenzy, Carter rushed to her side. “I’ve got you,” he assured her as he wrapped her in his arms. Looking into his eyes, Steffy tenderly touched Carter’s face, and the music swelled as the scene faded to black — so fans will have to wait for at least one more day to see if this distressed B&B duo crosses the line!
