DAYS OF OUR LIVES fans have long been admiring and inquiring about Kristian Alfonso's (Hope) personal jewelry collection, so the stylish actress has finally decided to do something about it: She's starting her own line.

"It's called Hope, Faith and Miracles — HFM, for short," says the actress, noting that the collection will center around her trademark fleur-de-lis. "I've always loved fleur-de-lis. They're beautiful and have always [symbolized] life to me."

Fans, in turn, have become enamored with the "flower of the lily" — traditionally used to represent French royalty as well as perfection, light and life.

"For the last 10 years, fans have been asking about my fleur-de-lis," recounts Alfonso. "I've been getting letters, e-mails, questions on the street. It all started with my earrings, which I always wear on the show. Then it was a necklace and my bracelets; all my different fleur-de-lis pieces. I finally thought, 'Let's make them available.' "

After discussing the idea with her sister and recalling how she'd talked to their late mother about it, Alfonso decided to give it a go. She has taken an active role in designing the pieces in her collection. "I'm completely involved. It's my company," stresses Alfonso. "What was so funny is that when I was with my manufacturer, approving some pieces and looking at chains and exactly what I wanted to use, one of the factory workers said, 'Oh, my God! You have the earrings on that you wear on the show. Where can I buy them? I love them.' I looked at her and said, 'Well, you're going to be making them soon.'"

While HFM's earrings, bracelets and necklaces may not be exact duplicates of her own diamond and platinum baubles, "they're pretty darned close," insists Alfonso. "All the pieces are sterling silver, so they're affordable for everyone. I've actually been wearing one of the bracelets for the last few weeks. I want to make sure that it's the best of the best. I've been wearing it in the ocean, in the pool, in the shower."

Not to mention on DAYS. "I believe it airs for the first time on Oct. 4," notes Alfonso. "It's a very simple bracelet, a beautiful link chain. Right next to the toggle is a fleur-de-lis [charm]."

It will be at the holiday market at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center. I will be there Nov. 4 and 5."
