General Hospital Exclusive: Alexa Havins Says Dante and Lulu Are ‘Endgame’

On General Hospital, the relationship between Lulu Spencer and Dante Falconeri is on the rocks after Dante found out that Lulu was hiding a whopper of a secret from him: their son, Rocco, shot Cullum. But even as the tension between the former spouses skyrockets, Lulu’s portrayer, Alexa Havins, tells Soap Opera Digest that she’s Team “Lante” all the way!

Dante and Lulu as ‘Endgame’

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu fell in love, married (and divorced) twice, and became parents to Rocco (Finn Carr) long before Havins assumed the role of Lulu in 2024. When she began playing the part, Dante was reeling from the recent death of his beloved fiancée, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who was murdered after undergoing surgery to donate part of her liver to the long-comatose Lulu. When Lulu did wake up, Dante was technically single but was certainly in no place to explore whatever lingering feelings he may have for his ex-wife. Meanwhile, Lulu just got into — and then just as quickly got out of — her first post-coma romantic entanglement, with the man she believes is Dante’s best friend, Nathan, but who is actually his evil twin, Cassius (Ryan Paevey). And now, feeling hurt and betrayed over Lulu shutting him out of what was going on with Rocco, Dante is barely speaking to Lulu.

While that leaves them quite a road to climb if they ever are to reunite, Havins strongly believes that Dante and Lulu — affectionately known as “Lante” to their fans — are up to the challenge. “Ever since I first came on the show, I’ve always had that in the back of my mind,” she confesses. “I assumed that them getting back together was kind of the end game and the goal.” So, from the very beginning, she’s been layering in breadcrumbs suggesting that Lulu has never gotten over Dante. “I’ll always give him a lingering look or an accidental touch, trying to make sure that the connection between them is alive in our scenes,” she explains. “Otherwise, it would just be two friends talking, and that’s her first love!”

Havins said she felt an immediate kinship with Zamprogna when they began working together early on. “Dom and I get along really great, and I think from the first time we did scenes together, I was like, ‘All right, there’s something really good here!’ It just felt very natural. It was one of those things where you read the scenes and you don’t quite see it on paper, but then you start working with your scene partner and it feels like a little sprinkle of magic happens and you go, ‘Oh! Okay, there’s definitely a lot to explore here!’ I think Dom and I both felt that way.”

A little over a year and a half later, “I still feel that way!” Havins grins. “Even though Dante and Lulu had scenes where basically, he’s done with me, I’m dead to him, I still feel like there’s still a lot to go, a lot of places to explore. But in true soap fashion, we can’t just be together and be happy. It’s got to be the long road, right? We’ve got to have some drama in between!”

The GH star believes that the rebirth of a Dante and Lulu romance could be “a beautiful story exploring how after all these detours and heartaches, these two find their way back to each other. What a sweet story it would be, especially for their child, Rocco, to reunite that family. I don’t know if that’s where they’re going, but I always keep that in the back of my mind — that Dante and Lulu are endgame.”

Don’t Stop Believing: They’re estranged at the moment, but Havins has faith in an eventual reunion between Dante and Lulu.

Tuesday, May 12, was full of heated conversations on General Hospital! Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) blasted “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) for lying, Lulu (Alexa Havins) put Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in her place, and Rocco (Finn Carr) clashed with Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke). Meanwhile, Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Portia (Brook Kerr) discussed the future of the family, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) reconnected, Justine (Nazneen Contractor) had some pointed questions for Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), and Curtis (Donnell Turner) decided to take matters into his own hands. Acts Of Love

Visiting her mom at the cabin for the first time, Trina announced they were going to plan Portia’s baby shower. After Trina updated her mom on her possible new music career, they discussed the party guest list, and Portia decided to invite Jordan, hoping the gesture would help the blended family come together for the baby.

Meanwhile, Curtis told Jordan he planned to stop by the D.A.’s office first for an update on Isaiah. Jordan hoped that Justine’s investigation would exonerate Isaiah. Curtis claimed that he did, too, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that Isaiah was responsible, and was possibly covering it up to prevent more friction within the family. Later, Jordan received a surprise visit from Molly, who expressed how much she regretted the distance between them since she lost baby Irene and split from TJ. The women reconnected as they discussed how they’ve each been impacted by their respective tragedies.

Do It Yourself

Over at the D.A.’s office, Justine grilled Isaiah about his movements the night of the car crash. When Justine asked if his black BMW SUV had been involved in an accident recently, Isaiah realized she suspected he was involved in Jordan’s accident and refused to answer any further questions or provide a paint sample from his car. Isaiah accused her of harassment and stalked out. Later, Justine briefed Curtis on Isaiah’s lack of cooperation and shared that a judge had denied her request for a warrant. Since they had no physical way to link Isaiah to the accident, Jordan sighed, they had no case. Curtis vowed to find enough evidence to give the PCPD probable cause for a warrant for Isaiah’s arrest.

Mute Point: Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) didn’t like where Justine’s (Nazneen Contractor) questions were leading and shut her down.

Stay In Your Lane

In his office, Dante blasted “Nathan” for covering up Rocco’s involvement in Cullum’s shooting. “Nathan” defended himself, noting that he and Jason acted in the moment to protect Rocco and prevent the commissioner from having to arrest his own son. Dante insisted he should have been informed and didn’t want “Nathan” to have any further involvement with Rocco. “Nathan” then revealed that Lulu had gotten so angry when he’d tried to get her to ship Rocco out of town that she’d ended their relationship.

Dante shut down the idea of sending Rocco away. He said he would be the one to support and guide his son, remarking that he felt like he didn’t know his best friend anymore. “Nathan” conceded that he’d handled things poorly and on his way out, he warned Dante to get rid of the evidence before Cullum came looking for it, because if Dante figured out the truth, Cullum would eventually do the same.

Under Pressure

Lulu summoned Britt over to her place, wanting to make sure Britt was on the same page about protecting Rocco. Their conversation quickly devolved into a shouting match over Britt’s involvement in the teen’s life. When Britt commented that it was too much to expect Rocco to handle the pressure he’s been under, Lulu accused her of conspiring with Nathan to convince her to send Rocco away. Britt denied it, but said she didn’t think it was a bad idea for Rocco to leave Port Charles until things died down. Lulu snapped that whatever came next for Rocco was for her and Dante to decide. She kicked Britt out of the house, seething that if anything happened to Rocco, it was all on her.

Later, Isaiah stopped by to alert Lulu that he’d been questioned by Acting D.A. Turner and was a suspect in Jordan’s car crash. Isaiah wanted to continue protecting Lulu and Rocco, but warned that he might have to come clean if charges were filed against him. Lulu asked him to give her a heads-up first if it came to that. “I’ll handle it from there,” vowed Lulu.

Root Cause: Lulu (Alexa Havins, l) blamed Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) for all of Rocco’s issues.

Two Against One

At the Quartermaine boathouse, Rocco was caught off guard to learn that Danny had overheard Sonny saying that Jenz Sidwell was responsible for Jason getting taken away and had told Charlotte this information weeks ago. Rocco tried to cover his gnawing guilt as Danny and Charlotte explained that they hadn’t told him because he’d been so quiet and withdrawn lately.

Danny asked Rocco to help him and Charlotte break into Wyndemere to get info on Sidwell that could help Jason. Rocco lost his cool, shouting that Sidwell was a dangerous man and Danny needed to stay away from him. He even threatened to turn them in if they tried to sneak into Wyndemere. Danny countered that unlike Rocco, he didn’t have parents to clean up his problems for him and warned Rocco to stay out of his way. When Charlotte refused to leave with him, Rocco told the duo to screw off and bolted. Charlotte assured Danny that Rocco was just taking his anger out on him and promised that they’d help his dad together.

Last Resort

Britt returned home to find Rocco waiting for her in the hallway. As he opened up about how freaked out and helpless he’s been feeling, Britt offered comfort, assuring him that he’d been a hero for the way he saved her and Jason. She apologized for pushing him away and promised Rocco that he could come talk to her any time.

Open Arms: Britt gave Rocco a literal shoulder to cry on.

It’s Only My Opinion: GH, Y&R, DAYS, B&B, and BTG Kick off May Sweeps With a Bang

From Carly (Laura Wright) and Jack’s (Chris McKenna) explosive breakup on General Hospital to Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) arrest on Young and Restless, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) making power plays on Bold and Beautiful, Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) learning the shocking truth on Beyond the Gates, and the reading of Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) will on Days of Our Lives, Carolyn Hinsey takes on the drama-packed kickoff to May Sweeps.

Cheat Feat

Soaps shot the action out of a cannon for May Sweeps, proving my theory last week that some shows were treading water. Way to make us sit up and take notice!

The biggest jolt happened on GH after Josslyn blabbed to WSB baddie Brennan that Carly was cheating on him. Brennan broke into Carly’s house and found her naked in bed.

Brennan: “Where is he?!”

Carly: “Turn around.”

There was Valentin all smirky holding a gun. Brennan was dumbfounded that Carly would turn to Valentin instead of him for help with Josslyn. “Really?” she responded, going in for the kill.

Carly: “You recruited my daughter into the WSB. You turned my kind, sweet, honest, beautiful girl into a lying, murdering spy like you. There is no redemption. You hurt my kid, and there’s no coming back.”

Brennan: “You slept with my enemy!”

Valentin (sarcastic): “That hurts.”

That’s how you jump-start a story. Escaped fugitive Valentin had been hiding in Carly’s attic since Christmas — right under Brennan’s supposedly spy-trained nose — so it was past time for that jig to be up. As he aimed the gun, Valentin pointed out all the ways Brennan had failed as a WSB agent (and boyfriend) and laid out Cullum’s duplicity, which impacts them both. They’re in this together now.

Fire and Ice: Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) had a front-row seat to Jack (Chris McKenna) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) showdown.

The first week of May Sweeps was also a runaway train for big-mouthed Joss. Her incessant questioning sparked a raucous fight with “Nathan” that resulted in Joss waking up in the Anna Devane Memorial Secret Room at Wyndemere. She tried to pick the lock that Anna spent weeks trying to open and finally learned the reason she was being held: Her captor is really Cassius Faison, Nathan’s secret twin brother. Their creepy interaction didn’t do much for Joss but it did answer an important question for us: Obrecht appears not to know Cassius exists despite having given birth to him along with her precious Nathan.

Josslyn: “People will be looking for me.”

Cassius: “Not here. No one would ever suspect that Detective Nathan West — the golden retriever of the PCPD — had anything to do with your disappearance.”

Funny and true. My favorite thing!

Obviously, GH can’t run the Carly/Val/Brennan/Josslyn/Cassius saga 24/7, but interspersing it with the “mystery” of who was in the other car during Jordan’s accident ain’t it. We know who caused the crash: Jordan.

Jordan: “All I had to do was keep my eyes on the road.”

Curtis: “The other driver bears responsibility for not stopping.”

No. She veered into oncoming traffic, so the other driver is moot. Plus, if GH had really wanted to up the drama, they would have brought back Jordan’s son TJ — a doctor — as she hovered near death, and made a bigger story out of her kidney damage than her upset about her scars.

Jordan: “My face may never be the same. I don’t know if I can handle that.”

It’s hard to find real jeopardy there when Michael and Ava both recovered from far worse burns and scars. Hey, Jordan: Just ask them for the number of the Magic Skin Repair Clinic they went to in Europe and you’ll be healed by the Nurses’ Ball!

Hot Couture

I am all in on Hope jumping ship from Forrester to Logan on B&B. It was Liam’s idea, but Bill and Katie ran with it. Hope is hemming and hawing about leaving, despite having been screwed around for months re: Hope for the Future. But the more Steffy mistreats her, the closer she gets to the door. Brooke had no clue what Liam was talking about when he cracked a joke about how there is “hope for Logan’s future” (wink!) but Hope later hinted at her intentions.

Hope: “There could have been another avenue to support Eric that didn’t involve torpedoing my line.”

Brooke: “Don’t worry about Steffy.”

Hope: “I’m going to worry, and you should too. Steffy is trying to prove she’s Stephanie Forrester, Jr., which she’s not. She’s a watered-down version with half the talent. The fact that you have to answer to her is not right.”

Ouch! Hope also called Steffy “Ridge’s nepo daughter” and said Brooke deserved to be co-CEO with Ridge. Her mom turned on a dime: “You’re right!”

Cut to Brooke donning a silk robe and asking Ridge to demote his daughter and promote her to co-CEO. That sets the stage for the biggest fashion blow-up on B&B since Brooke crashed the Forrester press conference clad only in lingerie to launch Brooke’s Bedroom line. (“You bitch!” screamed Stephanie.) I’m all in for that, too!

Bad Will Hunting

The reading of Stefano’s will under the watchful eye of his portrait also promises big surprises on DAYS for May.

Anna: “This has got to be the longest farewell tour of all time — Elton John’s got nothing on Stefano DiMera. We’re missing the flower show!”

Tony: “I’m sure a hefty inheritance will assuage your disappointment.”

Any event that brings Tony and Anna back to Salem is A-OK in my book. I also appreciated the line in the will that stated Stefano had taken care of the staff “for all the remaining days of your lives.” Marlena refused her inherited gift of a chess set (declaring Stefano’s sick game ends here), and Gabi turned up to announce she’s Stefan’s widow and is therefore entitled to his share of the estate.

Gabi: “Ch-ching!”

EJ (toasting): “Here’s to Fa-thah.”

As they raised their glasses, Stefano’s long-dead daughter Lexie crawled out of the DiMera crypt because #Days. Poor Abe!

Cop To It

Thankfully, the convoluted tale of a black market plasma ring at the hospital on BTG seems to also be taking a turn this May. What are the odds that the wife of undercover cop Jacob would be with her bestie Ashley when Ashley’s boyfriend, aka the guy Jacob is trying to bust, crashed their hang to tell Ashley that “bad people” were watching her? Naomi interjected, and soon found herself blabbing to Grayson that Jacob couldn’t be one of those bad people because he’s on a secret police assignment. Oops.

Grayson (busting in on Jacob): “You’ve been playing me this whole time. I know you’re undercover!”

Here’s hoping “The Impaler’s” days are numbered.

Arrested Development

After months of plotting to steal Newman Enterprises, Y&R’s Phyllis learned the hard way that Victor doesn’t like to lose. He had her arrested.

Christine: “We can talk about a plea deal.”

Phyllis: “I’ll see you in hell first.”

Christine (to cop): “Take her away.”

The case is flawed because Victor fabricated the evidence in the form of fake emails he supposedly “found” at Chancellor. So while Phyllis did steal his company, everyone (including Christine) knows the Internet is Phyllis’s wheelhouse and she would never leave incriminating emails behind. Her kids don’t care, though, which is really the heart of this story.

Phyllis: “You’re not going to help?”

Daniel: “I’ll help. I’ll visit you in jail.”

Action needed here includes Victor being brought down for falsifying evidence and Summer coming home from Italy to make trouble for Phyllis as she fights yet another dramatic battle. Daniel is done, excoriating Lauren for enabling his mother’s “power grab.” She gave it right back.

Lauren: “Your mother has just done what men like Victor do on a regular basis, except men get called ‘titans of industry’ or ‘corporate raiders’ and your mother gets called a criminal. Where’s the justice in that?”

Excellent point. Let’s see Christine object to that argument in the upcoming court battle!

One Life to Live Vet Jennifer Harmon Dead at 82

Jennifer Harmon, who starred on multiple soap operas and had a prolific career on Broadway, has passed away at the age of 82. The Daytime Emmy-nominated actress died in New York City, her home of many years.

A Life in Full

Born in Pasadena, CA, Harmon was raised in New Orleans, LA and made her daytime debut in 1974, nine years after taking her first Broadway bow in a revival of You Can’t Take it With You. Her first soap role was as alcoholic divorcée Chris on NBC’s How to Survive a Marriage. She exited the show in 1975, and the following year, she joined the cast of One Life to Live as Cathy Craig Lord, longtime nemesis of Viki Lord (Erika Slezak). She was the fifth and final actress to play Cathy, who left Llanview in 1978 when her marriage to Tony Lord (George Reinholt) ended. That same year, Harmon scored a Daytime Emmy nomination as Outstanding Lead Actress.

Harmon returned to OLTL in 1991 as Viki’s attorney. That same year, she had a memorable arc on Guiding Light as Jean Weatherill, who was brought to Springfield by Roger Thorpe (Michael Zaslow), who hoped to split up Holly Lindsey’s (Maureen Garrett) new romance with Dr. Daniel St. John (David Bishins), Jean’s former mother-in-law. Jean was killed, and her death kicked off a murder mystery (Daniel was ultimately proven to be the killer). On Another World, Harmon played Judge Trullinger on Another World, and she made her final soap opera appearance as Lucretia Jones on Loving in 1995.

Over the course of her impressive stage career, Harmon appeared in more than 20 Broadway shows. She was also no stranger to prime-time TV. On Dallas, she played a secretary in 1979, and notched appearances on series like St. Elsewhere, Law & Order, Oz, Rescue Me and The Good Wife.

General Hospital Spoilers Video: ‘You and I Need to Get a Few Things Straight’

The General Hospital spoilers video for Tuesday, May 12, is full of intense confrontations. Kicking things off, Curtis (Donnell Turner) remains convinced that Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) was somehow involved in Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) car accident. “Why is Isaiah being evasive if he’s got nothing to hide?” he wonders.

Playing Defense

Even if he wasn’t the other driver on the road the night that Jordan crashed, Isaiah still has something to hide: His involvement in helping treat Rocco (Finn Carr) after he injured himself shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). So he’s naturally defensive when Justine (Nazneen Contractor) attempts to question him. “I’d like to know where you’re going with this,” Isaiah grumbles.

When Trina (Tabyana Ali) pays her mother a visit at Isaiah’s cabin, Portia (Brook Kerr) has something she’d like to discuss with her daughter. “Why don’t we talk about you,” Portia suggests, “and the secret you’ve been keeping.”

Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) arrives on Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) doorstep, and she should probably brace herself for what comes next. “You and I need to get a few things straight,” Lulu informs her guest. These two never see eye-to-eye on anything, so this could get pretty ugly!

Rocco has been struggling ever since the shooting, and the secret continues to weigh on him. So when Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) makes a request of him, he may not be in the mood to agree to it. “Right now, I need your help,” Danny says as Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) looks on. “Are you in?”

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was already upset to find out that Lulu hadn’t told him about Rocco’s involvement in Cullum’s shooting, but the fact that “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) had been involved from the start only made things worse. “Your involvement with my son?” Dante barks, “It ends now!”

General Hospital Exclusive: Cynthia Watros Talks Fallout for Nina After Brennan Blunder

Bedlam broke out on General Hospital when Nina accidentally injected Jack Brennan with the medication Willow has been using to keep Drew in a paralyzed state on the Friday cliffhanger. On Monday’s episode, it was revealed that Jack is alive — but he’s far from well. “This was not a good day for Nina,” declares Cynthia Watros, who gave Soap Opera Digest the inside scoop on all the drama.

Stick It to Me

“Those were really fun scenes to shoot,” Watros enthuses of the hectic events surrounding Nina’s inadvertent jabbing of Jack. “When I first read them, I was like, ‘How is this going to work, with Nina not really wanting to be in the middle of this fight between Valentin [James Patrick Stuart] and Jack [Chris McKenna] and ending up injecting him with this paralytic?!’ The three of us worked with a fight coordinator and it was so frenetic, but came together so naturally. I think it really turned out great!”

Great for viewers, not so great for Nina — because in the chaos that ensues after Jack collapses, Nina decides to follow him to the hospital and not tend to Drew (Cameron Mathison). Her failure to dose him on schedule could have huge consequences for both Nina and her daughter, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Watros notes, “She doesn’t remember until she’s at the hospital that Drew has missed his injection, and she calls Willow and has to tell her and Willow freaks out. They both know it would be very bad for them if he starts moving again. I mean, can can you imagine how angry Drew is going to be?! Not only have they been injecting him so he can’t move, but they’re also sort of making fun of him, like, ‘Can you just stop blinking? You’re kind of weirding me out.'”

Watros has been greatly impressed by Cameron Mathison’s performance as a locked-in Drew. “Cameron has been doing an amazing job,” she praises. “It is not easy, what he’s doing and all the emotion that he is able to show. It’s written in the script, like, ‘Drew is afraid with his eyeballs.’ I mean, how do you do that? But he does it!”

Speaking of eyeballs, Nina is up to hers in potential charges now that she’s put a WSB agent in the hospital in addition to being Willow’s accomplice in her crimes against Drew. “She is terrified,” Watros says. “I think she’s thinking about her daughter first and then she’s thinking about, ‘How is this going to affect me?’ This is very high-stress for her.”

Oh, The Humanity

But it’s not only the prospect of losing her freedom that is keeping Nina up at night in the wake of Brennan’s hospitalization. “Of course, she doesn’t want Willow or herself to be in trouble, and of course she’s worried about the repercussions of injecting an agent with a paralytic drug, but also, she has a heart,” muses Watros. “She hurt this man. This man is in a hospital bed because of her! It is not in Nina’s nature to put someone in the hospital because of something she did, so there’s a lot going on in her head. She is worried about him as a human being. She might not like him or even really know him, but I think we’ll see this bring her more compassion toward him.”

In the meantime, Watros says, she’s rooting for Nina to hold it together. “I don’t know what she does when she gets home after a day like this! I’m thinking a hot bath and a glass of wine. Nina definitely needs to decompress!”

A Change is Gonna Come: Josh Griffith has opted to step down from his post as executive producer of Y&R, which he has held since 2023. He will remain as the show’s head writer, but Sally McDonald, who was previously serving as co-EP alongside Griffith, will now hold that position solo.

Novel Idea: Y&R stars Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Mark Grossman (Adam), Michael Graziadei (Daniel) and Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) will be directed by Y&R Director Fritz Brekeller in a reading of the upcoming romance novel She Wrote, He Wrote: A New York Love Story on Wednesday, May 20 at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles. General Hospital Recap: Drew Regains Movement as Jack’s Collapse Causes Panic!

Things threatened to spiral out of control in the Monday, May 11 episode of General Hospital! Rick (Rick Hearst) tried to get Sonny (Maurice Benard) to spare his life, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) blasted Lulu (Alexa Havins) for keeping him in the dark about their son, Nina (Cynthia Watros) created a huge mess with Jack (Chris McKenna), and Drew (Cameron Mathison) regained movement in his hand! Here’s how it all went down.

The Art of War

At the Jerome gallery, Ava watched helplessly as Sonny held a gun on Ric. Ric insisted he would never betray him and promised that his business with Ava had nothing to do with him. Sonny revealed he’d had Ethan tail him, and Ethan had caught him talking to Ava, who then delivered a message to Sidwell. Ava insisted that Sonny had it all wrong, and Sonny ordered Ethan to take her outside. Ethan dragged her out and shoved her into a car.

A Reasonable Explanation: Ethan (Nathan Dean, c.) watched as Ava (Maura West) and Ric (Rick Hearst, r.) insisted Sonny (Maurice Benard) had the wrong idea.

As a furious Sonny railed at Ric for lying to him, a trembling Ric admitted that he had been dishonest, then had Sonny open his briefcase so he could show him what his transaction with Ava was really about: buying a piece of art for Elizabeth, a sale that had needed to be done covertly because of a legal conflict involving the seller’s divorce. Ric added that he understood why Sonny would jump to the wrong conclusion and even invited his brother to keep having Ethan follow him if it made him feel better.

Sonny lowered his weapon and told Ric he hoped they would eventually reach a point where he would never question his brother’s loyalty, and Ric agreed that was a fine goal. Sonny started to call Ethan to release Ava, but the brothers shared a laugh as they decided to let her stew in the car a bit longer. Inside the vehicle, Ava told Ethan about Ric’s art purchase and complained about having to explain herself to one of Sonny’s flunkies. Ethan countered that she should be trying to work with him, but she wasn’t interested.

Teen Angst

At the hospital, Lucas noticed Liz didn’t seem excited for her big weekend away with Ric. Her attention was drawn away to Rocco walking nearby. She excused herself to grab the teen and ask him how his hand was doing. He admitted it still hurt sometimes and looked uncomfortable as Liz took another look at it. When she returned to work, Lucas offered to listen if she wanted to talk about what was bothering her, but she said it wasn’t her story to tell.

Charlotte stopped by Carly’s to see her father and was pleased to hear he was out taking care of Jack. Carly reminded her that Valentin dealing with Brennan didn’t mean that she or her dad were out of danger, and urged her to maintain caution, warning Charlotte that Valentin’s enemies would use her to get to him like Jack used Josslyn to get to her.

The Truth Is Out

Dante went to Lulu’s house to confront her about not telling him that Rocco shot Cullum. She wondered how he found out, and he explained the chain of evidence that led him to deduce that Jason took the fall to protect their son. He didn’t understand why she’d kept him in the dark and was stunned to discover that Nathan was also in on the cover-up. Lulu explained how Nathan had stepped up to protect Rocco, and he’d insisted no one else could know. Dante protested that he’s Rocco’s father, and Lulu pointed out he’s also the acting police commissioner who would’ve wanted to do things by the book.

Dante said that while he understood why she felt she had to protect their son from the WSB, “You do not have to protect him from me.” Lulu reminded Dante that when Rocco tried to do the right thing and came forward for breaking into Dalton’s lab, he was sent to juvie and beaten up. Dante expressed concern that if he could figure out what happened to Cullum, so could the WSB. Dante wanted to work together to help Rocco and couldn’t believe she asked their son to lie to him. Grimly, he asked, “I don’t know how we come back from this, do you?” Outside, Charlotte came home and found Rocco sitting outside on the porch, trying to avoid the argument entirely.

Man Down

In Drew and Willow’s home, Nina was horrified to realize she’d injected Jack by accident and watched as he dropped to the floor. Valentin wondered what was in the syringe, and Nina told him it was Drew’s medication. When she couldn’t bring Jack around, Nina called for help and urged Valentin to get out before the ambulance came.

As the paramedics rushed Jack to the ER, Nina quickly followed them to the hospital. There, Liz asked Nina what happened to Jack, and Nina claimed he collapsed out of nowhere. When Liz wondered if she should call Willow or if she had to be with Drew tonight, Nina’s eyes widened in panic. Later, Liz updated Nina on Jack’s condition, telling her that he had stabilized and was being moved into the ICY. Liz then noted to Lucas what an odd coincidence it was that two healthy men had strokes in the same house three months apart.

Power Surge

Valentin returned to Carly’s in a state and shared that Jack claimed not to know what happened to Josslyn. Carly insisted they had to make him tell them the truth, but Valentin revealed that Jack might not be able to. He explained what happened with Nina and the syringe of Drew’s medication, and Carly admitted she felt bad for Jack. Valentin reminded her that there could be no happy ending for Jack if she wanted to find Josslyn. Carly worried how they’d find her daughter if Jack didn’t pull through, but Valentin was more concerned about Cullum now being in charge of the WSB in Port Charles.

Under Observation

Willow ran into Chase jogging in the park, and he said he was hoping to run into her to ask if she could help him and Brook Lynn adopt Phoebe. When he worried that it might look like they were trying to game the system, Willow reassured him that he and Brook Lynn deserved to raise Phoebe, and her influence would be better than the Quartermaine name, which might do more harm than good. Chase was grateful again for her help, and as Willow reached out to touch his shoulder while assuring him he would be a great dad, someone snapped pictures of the close moment.

After they shared a hug, Willow stepped away to take a call from Nina, who filled her in about what happened to Jack — but more importantly, that Drew didn’t receive his scheduled dose.

From the other room in the house, Drew heard everything that went down with Jack and found that he could start to move his hand! Eventually, he was able to move his arm and slowly struggled to reach for the phone near his wheelchair. But just as he was getting his fingers on the keypad to dial, Willow came rushing in to grab it out of his hands. “Drew,” she scolded. “Looks like no one can be trusted to keep an eye on you except me.”

General Hospital: Danny & Charlotte ‘Don’t Think It’s Right’ To Pursue Romance, Asher Antonyzyn Says

Danny and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) shared some kisses on General Hospital, but then things cooled off as the young pair dropped onto the back burner. In a recent episode of the That’s Awesome podcast hosted by Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Steve Burton (Jason), Asher Antonyzyn opened up about his alter ego’s relationship with Charlotte and how it has changed.

Dynamic Duo

Danny and Charlotte had been growing closer and closer on GH, and while stuck together in the Quartermaine carriage house during a terrible blizzard, they shared their first kiss in the January 29 episode. After some time, the teens discussed that milestone moment and shared another liplock on March 3. But that seemed to be the end of the potential romance, which had proven divisive among fans on social media given that the characters are related, albeit distantly.

During the podcast, Anderson inquired if there were romantic feelings between Danny and Charlotte, and Antonyzyn said that “There was, for a hot second.” But when things advanced beyond friendship, Danny worried about how the branches of their family trees intertwined. “Danny talked to his grandma [Alexis, played by Nancy Lee Grahn] and his dad about if they were related, and they said distant cousins, like great-grandfathers, great-great-grandfathers,” the actor recounted. “But at the end of the day, still related a little bit. So who knows where that goes, if that continues on.”

Charlotte’s biological grandfather, Victor Cassadine, and Danny’s biological great-grandfather, Mikkos Cassadine, were brothers, so the teens are related by blood. Specifically, due to the generational difference in their lineage, Danny and Charlotte are second cousins once removed. While technically not closely related, it appears now that the teens are no longer pursuing that blossoming romance, and their relationship has changed.

Antonyzyn compared Danny and Charlotte’s current connection to that of another non-romantic Port Charles supercouple. “They’ve kind of realized that it’s kind of like a Jason and Carly [Laura Wright] relationship where they have so much love for each other that they don’t feel like it’s right to go into something like that again.”

With Charlotte concerned about her father, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), being on the run from the WSB, and Danny desperate to find his own father, Jason, who was himself taken into WSB custody after taking the blame for shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), the two have more pressing concerns at the moment than young love — especially since the secret that Rocco (Finn Carr) was actually responsible for the shooting hanging in the air. But as close as they’ve become, Danny and Charlotte could be a formidable duo if they work together towards a common goal. Teased Antonyzyn, “We do team up and try and get [Jason] back.”

General Hospital Weekly Spoilers Video: ‘We Have a Mess on Our Hands’

The General Hospital spoilers video for the week of May 11 previews that actions have consequences. First, as Curtis (Donnell Turner) attempts to comfort Jordan (Tanisha Harper) as she takes in her burned and scarred face without bandages, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) shares some bad news with Portia (Brook Kerr). “Turner [Nazneen Contractor] thinks I was involved in Jordan’s car accident,” he reports. Will Portia come clean about her conversation with Curtis that pointed him in Isaiah’s direction? And was Isaiah, in fact, the other driver on the road that night?

Damage Control

When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) stops by her home, Lulu (Alexa Havins) knows this is no social call. “You know it was Rocco [Finn Carr] who shot Cullum [Andrew Hawkes],” she says, her voice shaky. Angry at being left out of the loop where his own son is concerned, Dante wonders, ‘Why wouldn’t you tell me?” Can Lulu find a way to explain why she kept this secret from Dante that he would accept?

After being injected with the drug that was keeping Drew (Cameron Mathison) in his locked-in state, Jack (Chris McKenna) finds himself in the hospital. Meanwhile, having not received that particular dose, Drew has regained enough mobility to reach for the phone. Can he call for help?

As the one who has been supplying the drug to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to keep Drew out of the way, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will likely not be very happy about it being used on someone else, even accidentally. “We have a mess on our hands,” he informs someone. And what will Willow do to Nina (Cynthia Watros) for inadvertently setting this disaster in motion?
