General Hospital: Who’s the Right Man for Britt?
Since Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason (Steve Burton) split up on General Hospital, Britt has had sparks with two other men in Port Charles. Tristan (Dean Geyer) is a colleague who seems to enjoy pushing her buttons, while Jude (Wil Traval) is a handsome stranger with whom she shared an instant attraction. But Jason and Britt have a history that neither can easily leave behind. So who’s the right man for Britt?
Who Should Britt Date on GH?
Jason has the advantage of history. Britt’s pull to him has survived his-and-her presumed deaths and plenty of obstacles, but their latest shot at happiness fell apart over trust issues when they found themselves at odds over how to handle Anna’s (Finola Hughes) mental breakdown-induced attempt on Britt’s life. Britt ended things and even swore off men, but it’s clear that she isn’t entirely over Jason. For viewers who remain invested in “JaBritt,” the question is whether these two can get past what drove them apart and find their way back to each other.
Tristan Roberts offers a different kind of possibility. When he arrived in Port Charles to join the staff at General Hospital, he and Britt immediately clashed after he took her room at Bobbie’s. Since then, they have continued to butt heads at work, and Tristan got in multiple digs at her during the staff mixer at The Brown Dog. Their relationship has been decidedly unfriendly so far, but that may be part of the appeal for viewers who enjoy watching antagonism turn into attraction. Unlike Jason and Britt, who already have a complicated romantic history, Tristan and Britt would be starting from a place of mutual irritation. Could all that friction eventually turn into something else?
Then there’s Jude, who has entered Britt’s orbit as a complete stranger. After her coworkers ditched her at The Brown Dog, a handsome man bought her a drink. They struck up a flirtatious conversation and agreed to spend the night together — without exchanging names or phone numbers. Their attraction was immediate, and the encounter offered Britt a much-needed, no-strings-attached distraction. Might their night of passion ultimately lead to a genuine connection and romance when Britt least expects it — or even claims to want it?
