2026 Daytime Emmys Gold and Silver Circle Inductees Announced
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the 2026 Gold & Silver Circle Inductees, who will be celebrated at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday, October 30.
2026 Gold and Silver Inductees
Set to be honored with inductions into the Gold Circle Society this year are: Byron Allen, television host, producer and Chairman & CEO of Allen Media Group; Daytime Emmy-nominated actress Patrika Darbo (ex-Nancy Wesley, Days of our Lives; ex-Shirley Spectra, The Bold and the Beautiful), who is slated to reprise Shirley on The Young and the Restless later this month; All My Children alum Francesca James (ex-Kitty Cole/Kelly Shea, All My Children), who has won Daytime Emmys both for acting and as a producer of General Hospital and All My Children; and Meredith Vieira, broadcast journalist and former co-host of The View, who is also the CEO of Meredith Vieira Productions.
General Hospital fans may also recall Meredith Vieira’s 2003 cameo appearance as madam Bree Flanders. She popped up on the show again as Bree in 2012, by which time the character had become a marketing executive at Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) makeup company, CoeCoe Cosmetics. Vieira also appeared on All My Children as a wedding planner in 2001.

This year’s Silver Circle inductees are: Stephen Brown, the Executive Vice President of Programming and Development for Fox Television Stations, and Rubin Ervin, TV announcer and warm-up host.
Per NATAS, the Gold and Silver Circle Society “recognizes industry leaders who have demonstrated enduring contributions to television. Inductees are exceptional professionals who have performed distinguished service within the television industry, setting standards for achievement, mentoring, leadership and professional accolades for 50 or 25 years, respectively” and “represent the best and brightest in the industry.”
NATAS previously announced that this year’s Lifetime Achievement Daytime Emmy will be presented to General Hospital icon and previous Daytime Emmy winner Genie Francis (Laura Collins).
The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony will be held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Friday, October 30. The ceremony will not be televised this year, but it will stream live on the NATAS YouTube channel at and the Emmys’ official website.
