Sofia Mattsson

Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Sofia Mattsson followed in the footsteps of her older sister, actress Helena Mattsson, in making the move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in showbiz. After appearances on primetime (Two and a Half Men, NCIS) and film (Jurassic City), she made her General Hospital debut in 2018 as Sasha Gilmore. That same year, Mattsson appeared in Lifetime’s My Husband’s Secret Wife. In 2016, she tied the knot with writer/producer Thomas Payton, with whom she shares a son (born 2021) and a daughter (born 2023). After exiting GH in 2025, she is set to make her Days of Our Lives debut early in 2027 in an undisclosed role.
