Comings and Goings: Cast Changes For GH, Y&R, DAYS, B&B and BTG As Of December 1
Here’s the very latest casting information about who’s coming and who’s going on General Hospital, Young and Restless, Beyond The Gates, Bold and Beautiful, and Days of Our Lives.
Who’s Coming
Beyond The Gates
Gizelle Bryant (Gloria): The star of Real Housewives of Potomac guested on the show on December 1.
Jasmine Burke (June): Burke continues her run as June.
Wendy Osefo (Calliope): Osefo, who like Bryant is a star of RHOP, was seen on December 1 in a cameo appearance.
Ernestine Johnson (Shanice Johnson): The likable nurse notches more screen time this week.
Maurice P. Kerry (Randy Parker): Expect to see Randy again this week.
Malachi Malik (Elon Hawthorne): The police chief, Jacob’s (Jibre Hordges) father, is in the mix again this week.
Kiara Liz Ortega (Sheryl): The firefighter is on duty this week.
Bold and Beautiful
Sydney Bullock (Miss Dylan): The school teacher, who last week confessed to running down Luna (Lisa Yamada), causing her death, notches more screen time this week.
Amy Davidson (Robin): Davidson, who is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Kerry Hennessy on the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules, has been cast as Robin, a public relations professional tapped by Forrester Creations. The actress has also appeared on such shows as Better Call Saul, Criminal Minds, Bones and The Rookie.
Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan Forrester): The Logan sister continues to air this week.
John McCook (Eric Forrester): Eric is in the thick of storyline this week as the question of whether he’ll continue at Forrester dangles in the air.
Days of Our Lives
Karole Foreman (Judge Dabney): Fans will see more of the judge as Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) pushes forward with trying to secure custody of her late daughter Abigail’s children.
Dan Gauthier (Peter Blake): The DiMera family is set to expand once again with the surprise comeback of Peter Blake, adopted son of the late Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). The character, originally played by Jason Brooks, was last seen in 1998. Peter will now be played by One Life to Live alumni Gauthier, who was one of the show’s many Kevin Buchanans. The actor will make his DAYS debut on December 19 and will work closely with other members of the DiMera clan, including Billy Flynn (Chad), Thaao Penghlis (Tony) and Stacy Haiduk (Kristen).
Alice Halsey (Rachel Black): The troubled girl continues her run this week.
Peter Porte (Dimitri Von Leuschner): Porte, who was last seen in Salem in 2023, is heading back to the show! He made his first appearance as Dimitri back in 2021, and his six-month reprisal two years later ended the same way his first one did: with Dimitri being shipped off to prison. “It’s always sad when your storyline comes to an end,” the actor told Soap Opera Digest at the time — but he was already looking ahead to a possible comeback down the line. He revealed, “What I’ve been led to believe is there may be a future for Dimitri on the show somewhere down the line, but in what capacity, I don’t know.” And Porte made it clear that he was hoping that would come to pass, enthusing, “I had a great time. I mean, not only did I get to play with and hang out with my friends, that I would choose to do for free, but I was getting paid for it. And the commute is 10 minutes from my house. That’s a win-win. This show is so special, because things really click along. The amount that I was able to cover, even in six months, was pretty incredible. It really was a great experience.”
Wes Ramsey (Character TBA): Ramsey — best known to soap fans for his 2017-2022 run on General Hospital as Peter August — is returning to DAYS, but the show is staying mum about whether he’ll be playing a new role or reprising the character he played back in 2009: Owen Kent, who became obsessed with Stephanie (now played by Abigail Klein) and was last seen on the run after escaping the clutches of the authorities for holding Steph hostage.
General Hospital
Cosette Abinante (Emily “Scout” Cain): Scout is in attendance at the hastily planned nuptials of her dad, Drew (Cameron Mathison), to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).
Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli): Spinelli returns home from a trip to check in on Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and opens up to his dear friend Jason (Steve Burton) about the experience.
Finn Carr (Rocco Falconeri): Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) son gets some frustrating news this week.
Robert Gossett (Marshall Ashford): The two-time Daytime Emmy-winner is back again as Marshall spends Thanksgiving with son Curtis (Donnell Turner) and their friends and family.
Paige Herschell (Jacinda Bracken): Jacinda and Michael (Rory Gibson) continue to deepen their relationship as the week progresses.
Michael E. Knight (Martin Grey): Martin has the honors, if they can be called that, of presiding over the wedding of Drew and Willow.
Wally Kurth (Ned Quartermaine): Ned, who happily survived his recent heart attack, was released from the hospital in time to spend the holiday with his loving family.
Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins): Laura’s (Genie Francis) husband is back in action this week. Though Kevin was recently mentioned on the show, Lindstrom hasn’t been seen in Port Charles since December 2024 while he’s been busy on BTG, where he played the role of Joey Armstrong.
Easton Rocket Sweda (Leo Quartermaine): Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) son, who Ned adopted, pops up in time to celebrate Turkey Day with the rest of the Q clan.
Vernee Watson (Stella Henry): Stella is a key part of the Ashford family’s Thanksgiving celebration.
Young and Restless
Matt Cohen (Det. Burrow): The sly cop is back in action this week as the search for Noah (Lucas Adams) intensifies.
Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott): Ashley, who touched down in Genoa City last week to celebrate Thanksgiving with the rest of the Abbotts, remains in the mix this week.
Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott): Traci also notches more screen time alongside her relatives.
Who’s Going
Young and Restless
Tricia Cast (Nina Webster): With the conclusion of Danny (Michael Damian) and Christine’s (Lauralee Bell) wedding last week, Cast has wrapped her brief return to her Daytime Emmy-winning role. However, she assured Soap Opera Digest that she’d be more than game for another comeback. “Of course I would!” she said. “Being back was a joy all the way around.”
Patty Weaver (Gina Romalotti): Like Nina, Danny’s sister headed out of Genoa City when the wedding festivities came to an end.
Real-Life Status
Goin’ To The Chapel: Y&R’s Cait Fairbanks (Tessa) revealed the news that she is engaged to her beau of five years, musician Jay Rudolph. She shared a photo of her gorgeous new engagement ring in her Instagram stories and he followed suit in his own, writing, “She said ‘yes’ ☺️.”
