Michigan native Lisa LoCicero knew she wanted to be an actress at age 13. After graduating from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, LoCicero landed her first soap, LOVING, and became one of the few cast members to make the transition when it morphed into THE CITY. The extreme makeover for the low-rated soap didn’t click with viewers and THE CITY was canceled in 1997.
LoCicero then moved to Los Angeles, where she met director/writer/producer Michael Patrick Jann in 1999. “He was a very serious, tall, dark and brooding guy,” she told Digest in the 12/16/08 issue. “A shaggy, handsome man.” In 2001, son Lukas was born. In 2004, the family relocated to New York when LoCicero accepted the role of Sonia Toledo Santi on OLTL.
However, the Santi family was not well received by fans, so her stay was shorter than expected. The family moved back to L.A. and in 2007, LoCicero and Jann finally made their union legal with a small, intimate wedding in their home. In 2008, she joined the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL and the rest, as they say, is history. Her official Web site is www.lisalocicero.net.
