General Hospital’s Ava Found Out That Nikolas Had Sex With Esme And Other Big Moments From July 28

In 1994, All My Children’s Tad Martin (Michael E. Knight) reunited with sister Jenny Gardner Nelson (Kim Delaney) in heaven. Tad's trip to the afterlife occurred when he was gravely injured in the tornado that swept through Pine Valley. Tad ultimately recovered and returned to the land of the living. Jenny's appearance marked the first time Delaney had appeared on AMC since she exited as Jenny in 1984 after a three-year run.

In 1997, Jensen Ackles made his Days of Our Lives debut as Eric Brady, Roman and Marlena's son and Sami's twin. Ackles was the first actor to play the role after he was aged up to a young adult. He remained with the show until 2000, when the character left town. Eric returned in 2012 in the form of Greg Vaughan. In 2022 on General Hospital, Ava Jerome (Maura West) reeled from her husband Nikolas Cassadine's confession: He slept with Esme Prince! Ava was enraged, and unmoved when a weepy Nikolas tried to explain that he had made a mistake, and had only been intimate with the young woman because at the time, he thought his marriage to Ava was over. "Stop talking!" she barked as he stammered out excuses, and when he tried to touch her, she blocked him ("Oh, no — never again”). Her lip curled in disgust as she looked Nikolas up and down, then she went in for the kill. "I thought I married a man," she growled. "You are no man." Inching toward him, she got in his face and pronounced him to be "a spineless weakling." In a low, menacing whisper, she vowed to him, "I am going to burn you to the ground."

In 2023, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) were joined in holy matrimony on Young and Restless. The duo's courthouse wedding was attended by the groom's sister Traci. As the justice of the peace conducted the ceremony, Diane noted that she and Jack had had quite a journey, and flashed back to memorable moments in their courtship. She vowed to Jack that she would make their home a sanctuary and told him she loved him. Jack mused that he had almost given up on sharing his life with someone and called Diane his life and his heart. Post-wedding, they retreated back to the Abbott mansion and made love. After, Diane reminded him of their plan to stage an altercation between him and Billy, as part of their efforts to get Billy in position to uncover Ashley and Tucker's plans for Jabot. Back downstairs, Jack expressed to Traci how grateful he was that she had attended the wedding, and frowned that he wished the rest of the family could see how happy Diane made him.
