Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) meet with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to finalize their adoption of Phoebe. But there’s still an outstanding issue that the attorney reminds them about. “So the only decision you have to make is whether or not it’s you,” Alexis informs the couple. How will this choice affect the future of their family?
Ava (Maura West) has something special for Trina (Tabyana Ali), but the surprise doesn’t go over as well as the gallery owner might have hoped. “This is an incredible offer,” Trina admits. “But I’m afraid I can’t accept.” Does Ava want something from Trina that could interfere with her budding musical career?
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is out for a bite to eat with Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) at the Metro Court Gardens when the conversation takes a rather unexpected turn. “It would be in the best interest of the PCPD to reopen the investigation,” Willow suggests to her mother and great-aunt. But which investigation is she referring to? She couldn’t possibly want the police to keep looking for Drew’s shooter, could she?
Michael (Rory Gibson) stops by Carly’s (Laura Wright) home, where she directs his attention to his sister, Josslyn (Eden McCoy), who’s also there. “Speaking of surprises,” Carly announces, “Josslyn has big news.” How will Michael react to Joss’s new career with the WSB? Carly’s clearly hoping that Michael will take her side and urge Josslyn to quit such a dangerous job, but will he agree?
