The Young and the Restless Comings & Goings: Noah and Sienna Set to Exit Genoa City
The Young and the Restless is writing Noah Newman and Sienna Bacall out of Genoa City less than a year after the high-profile castings of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun. Viewers learned of the move on the August 3, 2026 episode, when Noah informed Sharon (Sharon Case) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna would be heading to Los Angeles to put distance between themselves and Sienna’s ex, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Are Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Leaving Y&R?
Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025, the latest in a long line of actors to take on the role of Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s son. The last actor to play Noah, Rory Gibson (Michael, General Hospital), made his final appearance on April 21, 2023.
Adams joined the Genoa City ranks after a run as Tripp Johnson on Days of Our Lives. Tamara Braun (ex-Ava Vitali), who played Tripp’s mother on DAYS, first appeared on Y&R as Noah’s lover on October 14, 2025.
While Adams was on contract with Y&R, Braun has been on recurring status since her debut.
In the episode, Noah and Sienna’s jaunt to California was not presented as a permanent move, with Noah assuring Sharon that the duo wouldn’t be gone long and voicing his hope that Matt would be gone from Genoa City by the time they returned. But the characters’ absence is likely to be a lengthy one, as Y&R’s weekly promo gave away that before Noah does leave town, he appointed Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) to run the club he recently opened in town, The Shadow Room, in his stead.
Noah and Sienna’s exit was scripted by outgoing head writer Josh Griffith. Whether Adams and Braun do return to the show — and when — is now in the hands of Y&R’s newly appointed head-writing team, Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor. They assume the writing reins of the show this week.
