Senior Editor Chris Eades has been a lifelong fan of soap operas since becoming addicted watching Luke and Laura on General Hospital as a kid. Before taking over the Soaps In Depth website in 2015, he spent 15 years working for the much-missed Soaps in Depth print magazine where he covered CBS sudser As The World Turns, and he now writes about all things daytime for Soap Opera Digest’s website. Over the years he’s been able to interview daytime icons like Susan Lucci, Peter Bergman, and Deidre Hall, visit the sets of soaps like One Life to Live and Guiding Light, and attend gala events like the Daytime Emmy Awards!
