Tyler Christopher

Tyler Christopher, who passed away in 2023, was born in Joliet, IL, but grew up in Delaware, OH. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University for two years before heading to California to pursue a career in acting, eventually landing the coveted role of Laura Spencer’s surprise son, Nikolas Cassadine, on General Hospital in 1996. He left the show in 1999, but returned from 2003-11, then again from 2013-16. He won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer in 1997 and the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in 2016. From 2017-19, he starred on Days of Our Lives as Stefan O. DiMera. He is survived by his children, son Greyson (b. 2009) and daughter Boheme (b. 2015).
