General Hospital’s Robert Learned Robin Is His Daughter and Other Big Moments from September 13

In 1985, General Hospital's Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) admitted to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) that Robin (Kimberly McCullough) was their daughter. In the storyline, Anna had secretly been pregnant by Robert when their first marriage came to a bitter end. Little Robin had grown up under the impression that Anna was a family friend, not her mother, while Robert was totally in the dark about his child's existence. Robert and Robin quickly made up for lost time and bonded as father and daughter. 

In 2004, Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and Emily Bowen-Quartermaine (Natalia Livingston) got engaged on General Hospital. Nikolas popped the question to Emily at Kelly's, telling her, "I'm not going to let circumstances come between us again.... I love you. No more putting this off. Say you'll marry me now." Emily told Nik, "There's no question that I want to marry you today, this minute, but there are so many things that could go wrong." He assured her that their wedding would be perfect, and he then called the other diners' attention to bear witness as he got down on one knee. "Yes," she beamed.

In 2012, Ridge Forrester (then-Ronn Moss) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) remarried on Bold and Beautiful. The venue was the Forrester living room, with Hope Logan serving as her mother's maid of honor and Thomas Forrester serving as his dad's best man (after Rick said no, that is). Though Brooke and Ridge's mom, Stephanie Forrester, had clashed for years, Steph was on board with the union and even helped plan the ceremony.

In 2018 on Young and Restless, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) visited his sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) in prison, where she was serving time for manslaughter after causing the death of his late wife, Hilary Curtis, and their unborn child. The pair's relationship had been strained, but a turning point occurred during their meeting as Devon told Lily that despite the pain he was in, she was still his sister. Breaking down in tears, Lily asked if Devon could ever forgive her. He gently replied, "There's nothing to forgive. Because I love you. I really love you, okay?" Lily was overwhelmed with relief, and the siblings shared a warm embrace.

In 2021 on General Hospital, a vengeful Peter August (Wes Ramsey) descended upon the Tan-O in Nixon Falls, raging at Nina Reeves over attempting to collude with Liesl Obrecht to have him killed in St. Lucia. Her quick-thinking pal (and the establishment's proprietor), Phyllis, grabbed a gun from behind the bar, but when she pointed it at him, Peter pulled out a gun of his own and grabbed Nina. Not wanting harm to come to Nina, Phyllis lowered her weapon. Peter snatched it from her and tied them to chairs, taunting that while he would soon be on his way, the two of them would never set foot outside of the Tan-O again. Terrified, Nina and Phyllis reached for one another's hands.
