Donna Mills

Donna Mills began her career with a recurring role playing Rocket on the soap opera The Secret Storm back in 1966, then played Laura Donnelly on Love Is a Many Splendored Thing from 1967-73. Her breakout role was Abby Cunningham on prime time sudser Knots Landing from 1980-89, winning the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Villainess: Prime Time three times. While working in prime time and films, Mills returned to daytime in 2014 to play Madeline Reeves on General Hospital, making recurring appearances until her character was killed off in 2022. In 2015, she took home the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer for her work on the soap.
