Chad Duell

Arizona native Chad Duell enjoyed both football and theater in high school, opting to drop out to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles. After appearances on The Suite Life on Deck and Wizards of Wavery Place for the Disney Channel, he landed the role of Michael Corinthos, a pivotal character in the General Hospital universe due to his familial ties to the Spencer, Quartermaine and Corinthos clans. He made his debut on April 20, 2010. Duell also appeared on the third season of The Bay in the role of Adam Kenway.

Over the course of his GH run, Duell was nominated for six Daytime Emmys (three for Younger Actor, three for Supporting Actor), winning once (in 2015) for Supporting Actor. In 2023, he became a first-time father with the birth of son Dawson. The following year, Duell announced his decision to exit the show, and he aired on GH for the final time on January 21, 2025.
