Y&R, B&B and BTG Bring the Drama as CBS Daytime Previews its Fall Season!
CBS has announced the fall season premiere dates for its daytime programs, including soaps Young and Restless, Bold and Beautiful, and Beyond the Gates! Though viewers are used to tuning in to their favorite daytime dramas every day, the network does still track them with seasons, even if they’re much longer and contain many more episodes than prime time series!
Will Jack and Victor Join Forces?
Y&R will begin its 53rd season with the episode airing on Tuesday, Oct. 7. It will also be celebrating the start of its 36th year as daytime’s number one soap. Viewers can look forward to longtime rivals Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) considering working together for a change in the interest of protecting their family legacies. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) will head off on a dangerous adventure after receiving a mysterious message. Billy (Jason Thompason) and Cane’s (Billy Flynn) relationship takes a turn when Jill (Jess Walton) returns to the fold. Plus, Nate (Sean Dominic) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) have a decision to make, Claire (Hayley Erin) finds herself caught between two men, and Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) prepare for their November nuptials. And don’t forget that some new faces are headed to Genoa City — Tamara Braun’s Sienna, Roger Howarth’s mystery character, and Matt Cohen’s Detective Burrow — as well as Noah Newman returning to the canvas with Lucas Adams taking over the role!
Can Brooke Steal Ridge from Taylor?
Monday, Sept. 15, will mark the start of B&B’s 39th season as fashion and romance take center stage. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) face off for the heart of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), who makes a big decision about his future after a fashion show. Liam (Scott Clifton) still wants a future with Hope (Annika Noelle), and her fiancé, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), must face the heartbreaking truth. Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) plan to make Will (Crew Morrow) hers promises to blow up both the Forrester and Spencer clans, even bringing Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) into the mix.
What Brings Dani and Ridge Forrester Together?
CBS’s newest soap, BTG, continues its very first season with plenty of drama surrounding the Dupree family. Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon’s (Clifton Davis) marriage is tested, Dani (Karla Mosley) and Andre’s (Sean Freeman) trip sends her on a collision course with B&B’s Ridge Forrester, and newly-single Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) finds herself spending more time with Carlton (Robert Christopher Reilly). Plus, Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning) work on their relationship, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) find themselves on opposing sides, Jacob’s brother, Izaiah (David Lami Friebe) arrives in town, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Kat (Colby Muhammad) fight over Tomas (Alex Alegria), and Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) and Ashley’s (Jen Jacob) lives are changed forever by lies and a death!
