Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is determined to apologize to the people whose lives she upended by not coming forward about her involvement in Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) car crash, and she’s starting with Trina (Tabyana Ali). But it may shape up to be a very short conversation as Trina spits, “Save your apologies — they’re not gonna fix anything,” before slamming the door in Brook Lynn’s face.
Jordan visits Curtis in Pentonville, where she is concerned to learn that his new cellmate is her old boss, Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Remembering Jenz’s threats to make her pay for betraying him, Jordan warns, “Targeting you would be the perfect way to get back at me.”
Ned (Wally Kurth) may hope to help repair his daughter’s fractured marriage, but Chase (Josh Swickard) doesn’t appear to be in a forgiving mood where Brook Lynn and her lies are concerned. “Respect that and stay out of it,” Chase warns his father-in-law.
WSB Agent Baines (Alimi Ballard) is investigating Jack’s (Chris McKenna) disappearance and stops by the Metro Court to question Carly (Laura Wright). But as Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) looks on, Carly directs the agent in another direction. “The person you need to be speaking to,” she suggests, “is Nina Reeves [Cynthia Watros].”
Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) wants to make Anna (Finola Hughes) pay for attempting to kill her in cold blood, and is frustrated that no one is supporting her quest for revenge. She’s especially hurt to find that Jason (Steve Burton), the man she loves, is not on her side. “You’re a witness,” Britt insists to him. “You have to help me stop her!”
