While talking to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) about the various crimes she’s committed being exposed in Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) article, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) adds, “We know why you did it — for Chase [Josh Swickard].” Now that Willow is suing the reporter for libel, is there a danger of Lulu’s story being proven true instead?
At the Aurora Wellness Center, Lulu’s article is also the subject of the conversation between Chase and Dante (Dominic Zamprgona). And once again, Chase is rushing to Willow’s defense. “Would you damn Willow on Sidwell’s [Carlo Rota] word?” Chase asks Dante.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has returned home after her trip the Dominican Republic with Chase to obtain a quickie divorce. When Tracy (Jane Elliot) wonders what’s next, Brook Lynn responds, “I’m gonna do what I should’ve done the whole time.”
With both the PCPD and the WSB considering her a person of interest in Jack’s (Chris McKenna) disappearance, Ava (Maura West) is calling in a favor — by hiring Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to represent her! But it appears the attorney is putting up some kind of protest, because a frustrated Ava complains, “How about we just skip to the part where you do what I want?”
Serena (Kelly Kruger) stops by the Quartermaines’ with some good news for Jason (Steve Burton), excitedly promising, “You are about to be a very happy man.” But will Jason think the same thing after she shares the update?
At the WSB facility where she is being held, Nina (Cynthia Watros) ignores her breakfast tray to continue protesting her innocence in Brennan’s disappearance. “Just tell me what I have to do to prove it to you,” she insists.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly (Laura Wright) have decided to figure out what really happened to Jack, and he warns her, “We’ve gotta move fast.” Are they already running out of time to uncover the truth?
