On May 15, 1978, Doug Davidson assumed the role of Paul Williams on The Young and the Restless. For his long-running role, Davidson received the 2013 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor and four Soap Opera Digest Awards: Outstanding Supporting Actor in 1997 and 1992, and Outstanding Hero in 1991 and 1990. Married to Cindy Fisher since 1984, Davidson has two children, Caden and Calyssa. He last appeared on Y&R in 2020.
