Keep on reading for the full recap.
Support System
At the Metro Court Gardens, Chase told Alexis he was considering divorcing Brook Lynn and wondered if that would jeopardize Phoebe’s adoption. Alexis assured him that since the adoption had been finalized, he’d be entitled to a normal custody arrangement. She encouraged Chase to try to reconcile with Brook Lynn but offered to refer him to another lawyer (since she’d handled the adoption) so he could get a formal separation and put a preliminary custody arrangement in place — the sooner the better.
Opposite this, Tracy told Brook Lynn she supported her decision to save her marriage. At first, Brook Lynn was skeptical, but Tracy convinced her granddaughter that she’d had a change of heart (hiding her secret desire to get them to divorce). Brook Lynn opened up about her hope that Chase would forgive her and not break up their family, and Tracy advised her to put Phoebe first in every decision moving forward. Later, Brook Lynn was singing a lullaby to Phoebe when Chase entered their bedroom. Brook Lynn looked at him hopefully…

Born to Run
Nina was with Willow, Liesl, and Britt at the Metro Court Gardens to warn them that the WSB was poking around about her potential involvement in Jack’s disappearance when Valentin approached the table. He suggested that Nina hire a lawyer to protect herself.
Britt chased after Valentin and told him that a mentally unstable Anna was determined to wipe out all of Faison’s descendants and had almost killed her. When a dubious Valentin insisted that was out of character for Anna, a frustrated Britt told Valentin to make sure Anna stayed away from her.

Meanwhile, following Anna’s conversation with Josslyn, Emma wished her grandmother would confide in her about what was going on. But for the sake of their relationship, Anna didn’t want to burden Emma with her mental health struggles. Valentin arrived asking to speak with Anna privately, and Anna agreed. Hurt and angry, Emma left.
Once Valentin revealed that he’d run into Britt, Anna opened up about how she’d feigned her recovery and lied to everyone while she planned to kill Britt. Anna worried that the WSB would put her in a facility to protect the bureau’s interests, so Valentin made a stunning proposal: “We disappear. You and me.”
Not wanting Valentin to jeopardize his own life, Anna cried that she deserved whatever action the WSB took after what she did to Britt. “I tried to kill Britt. I tried to kill her. And if I could do that, what else am I capable of?” she sobbed as she broke down in Valentin’s arms.

Suspect Behavior
At the WSB office, Agent Baines questioned Josslyn about Nina and Jack’s relationship. Josslyn explained how she’d tried to warn Jack against getting involved with Nina, then refocused the conversation on Anna, informing Agent Baines that Anna almost killed Britt.
Josslyn argued that the incident was a direct result of the work Anna had done for the bureau, and since she was no longer an active agent, Anna deserved leniency to be treated near her granddaughter, Emma. After dismissing Josslyn, Baines placed a phone call, demanding that a warrant be issued as soon as possible so he could arrest a suspect for attempted murder.

Three’s a Crowd
Following Jason and Britt’s breakup, Carly took him to the Brown Dog Bar to play pool. He lamented that his feelings for Britt hadn’t changed despite the split, but they couldn’t be together. When Emma arrived, she told Jason that what happened between Anna and Britt was starting to spread around town. Josslyn entered the bar and informed Emma that she’d had to report Anna’s situation to the WSB. Emma lashed out, calling Josslyn selfish and yelling that she’d be to blame if anything happened to Anna.
After Emma stormed out, Carly attempted to comfort her daughter, but Josslyn said she couldn’t talk about what she and Emma had argued about. Jason offered to speak with Josslyn, so Carly left. When Joss explained that Anna had encouraged her to follow procedure and report the incident to the WSB, Jason mused that Anna wanted Josslyn to notify the WSB because she was scared that she wouldn’t be able to stop hurting people herself and needed the bureau to step in.

Determined to find out what had led to the argument between Emma and Josslyn, Carly went to Anna’s house and was jarred to find Valentin there.
Family Fortunes
Cody updated Molly on his impromptu family dinner with Serena, Mac, and Felicia. Molly was pleased that Cody was getting to know his sister, then told him Alexis had decided she was done placating Drew and the family would go along with it if Scout chose to lie to her dad about seeing them.

Heavy Meddle
Back at the Metro Court Gardens, Britt lied to her relatives that she’d unsuccessfully tried to get Valentin to convince Carly to retract the statement she’d given to Agent Baines about Nina’s public fight with Jack. When Willow suggested that Britt ask Jason to intervene with Carly, Britt was forced to inform her family that she and Jason had broken up.
After making a jab about her daughter’s breakup, Liesl pressured Willow to use her congressional connections to protect her mother. But Willow was hesitant, afraid that Drew would turn it into a media sensation, and said she needed to be scrupulous with her behavior. At that, Willow glanced across the restaurant to where Chase sat with Alexis and flashed back to him showing up at the gatehouse the night before.

Willow excused herself, and the other three agreed that the family line to the WSB would be that Nina and Jack only had a handful of dates. Obrecht then apologized for making light of Britt’s heartache and pressed her for details about what happened with Jason. Rather than share the full truth, Britt sadly stated that she and Jason had irreconcilable differences.
As Alexis was leaving, Willow approached to talk about Chase and Brook Lynn, but Alexis refused to divulge details. Willow was glad that Chase was talking to a lawyer, because she cared about what happened to him, prompting Alexis to snark, “Then God help him.”

Is Chase going to ask Brook Lynn for a divorce or offer forgiveness? Who is Agent Baines planning to arrest? How is Carly going to react to finding Valentin at Anna’s house?
