Welcome Wagon
On Pier 55, Ethan Lovett was on the phone, leaving a message that he’d just arrived in town and if the other person couldn’t meet up, he would be in the same spot every day at noon. Then, Lulu showed up at the pier and was surprised to see her brother, who hadn’t told her he was coming to town. She accused him of running away from a con gone wrong, but Ethan insisted he simply had time on his hands and was missing his family. So, after visiting Robert, Holly, Sasha, and baby Daisy in France, he headed to Port Charles to see Lulu.
The siblings reminisced about their late father, Luke, and Lulu updated Ethan that she and Dante weren’t together, but she was dating someone new. When she asked her brother how long he’d be in town, Ethan replied that his plan was open-ended, and she invited him to stay at her house. Lulu headed home, but Ethan said he had another stop to make first and would meet her there later.

Better Together
Ezra woke up from his nap on Laura’s couch, remembering that the mayor had made a video of his drunken rant at the Brown Dog. Ezra felt guilty that Laura had zero plans to ruin his reputation by releasing the video, and then made an apology: He was likely the reason Sidwell had framed her for Dalton’s murder, because he’d made a casual comment that Sidwell would need leverage over the mayor. Assuring Ezra that only Sidwell was to blame, Laura proposed that they work together to stop him. She suspected that Sidwell’s wanting the new flight path was about more than travel time to and from Spoon Island. Now that she’d approved it, she wanted Ezra to find out why the flight path was so important to Sidwell so they could bring the information to the authorities. Ezra agreed to team up, and Laura told him to call her next time he felt the walls closing in rather than taking a drink.

A Few Good Men
While hanging out with Lucas, Carly gave her brother a hard time about still living at Wyndemere. Opening up a box, Lucas questioned why Carly had a man’s razor in the package, and she claimed it was for Jack to use when he slept over. Lucas called her out for acting weird, so she confided that she was also involved with someone else, but it was complicated because the relationship didn’t have a future. Lucas realized his sister really cared about the other man and urged her to break things off with Jack. She said she was still with Jack for reasons she couldn’t talk about, but the new guy got her in a way that no one had in a very long time.

Declaring that he’d never heard her talk about a man like that before, Lucas asked again if Carly and the guy could make it work. She said that circumstances had brought them together, and the relationship would end when the circumstances changed. Suspecting that wasn’t what Carly wanted, Lucas promised to support her no matter what choice she made. When she replied that she’d wished she’d been as supportive of Lucas when he got together with Marco, Lucas said she’d had a good reason to be concerned, but ultimately, Marco was a good man. Then, when Lucas added that he owed it to Marco to stay at Wyndemere, Carly again tried to talk him into moving out. Lucas cut her off, saying that he accepted her complicated choice and hoped she’d do the same for him.
Man With a Plan
Nina arrived home to find Valentin in her living room. When she asked where he’d been hiding, he wanted to know who was asking: her or Jack Brennan. Nina realized that Charlotte had figured out she was working with Jack. She swore that she hadn’t wanted to hurt Charlotte, but Jack was threatening to destroy Willow’s life if she didn’t do exactly what he wanted. Understanding the impossible position Nina was in (in having to choose between Willow and Charlotte), Valentin told his ex-wife that he blamed Jack, not her. Nina shared that she had a way to keep Jack in check for a while, but because he was so obsessed with finding Valentin, there was a good chance he’d go after Willow and Charlotte at any time. Next, Valentin told Nina that he wanted her to feed Jack certain information, but she worried that if Jack found out that she was double-crossing him, he’d take it out on Willow. Valentin responded that Jack was probably going to do that anyway — but helping him set Brennan up was her best chance to bring down the WSB agent for good.

Sharing is Caring
Kristina was babysitting Donna at Sonny’s house when Michael stopped by. They checked out reviews of Jacinda’s performance at open mic night at Charlie’s Pub’s social media, and Michael got upset over a post that said Jacinda was dating a homicidal maniac. Michael lamented that nothing would change the public’s perception of him since Willow made it seem like he’d framed her for Drew’s attempted murder. Then Michael told his sister that he hated sharing custody with Willow, playing nice with her was a strategic move so his ex would think he’d accepted the situation and moved on. In the meantime, he knew Willow shot Drew and was determined to find evidence that could prove it. Michael explained that even though Willow wouldn’t be tried for the same crime a second time, she’d lose her seat in Congress, and he could take her back to family court and get full custody. Kristina urged her brother not to put Wiley and Amelia in a position where they were torn between their parents, the way they had been as kids. Rather than put the kids through another custody battle, she told Michael to find the evidence and use it to clear his own name.

After Michael left, there was a knock on the door. When Kristina opened it, she was taken aback to see Ethan on the other side. Grinning at the sight of his old friend, Ethan grinned, “This must be my lucky day.”
Who’s The Boss
Willow took Wiley to Bad Jen Cafe to treat him to a milkshake since he’d gotten an A on his spider project. When Jacinda entered, an excited Wiley showed his report to Jacinda (who’d inspired him to pick spiders in the first place and helped him with the assignment), which irritated his mother. After Jacinda left the café to return to work, Willow took Wiley to his friend’s house for a sleepover, then went to Crimson. Accusing Jacinda of only helping Wiley with the assignment to ingratiate herself with Michael, Willow ordered her to stay away from the children. Jacinda retorted that whether Willow liked it or not, she was with Michael and therefore a part of the kids’ lives.
Willow snapped that it was inappropriate for Michael to allow the kids to spend time with a hooker because Jacinda was a danger to them, and Jacinda retorted that she wasn’t the one who’d shot a man twice in the back and left him for dead. As their bickering over Michael escalated, Jacinda hissed that Willow was desperately trying to find someone to take the blame not only for the shooting, but for her whole life, but she had no one to blame but herself. Willow demanded Jacinda to stay away from Wiley and Amelia, threatening to cut off Michael’s access to them the way he had to her over her relationship with Drew. Just as Willow yelled that there would be hell to pay if Jacinda tried to get near the kids, a ticked-off Michael entered the office.
