General Hospital’s Paige Herschell Breaks Her Silence on Jacinda’s Exit: ‘I’ve Loved Every Moment’
Paige Herschell has officially said goodbye to General Hospital, where she has played Jacinda Bracken since 2025.
Following the Tuesday, August 11 episode, which marked her final appearance in the role of the private escort who fell into a surprise romance with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), Herschell took to Instagram to reflect on her time in Port Charles and thank the fans who supported her.

“Thank you @generalhospitalabc for giving me Jacinda,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. “I’ve loved every moment with her, on stage and off.”
Herschell also thanked the show’s fans for their “sweet messages and encouragement,” adding, “I’m overwhelmed with your kindness. I’ve loved sharing this journey with you all.”
The actress ended her post on a Jacinda-esque note: “If you need me… I’ll be in the character closet. 😘”
Herschell joined General Hospital as Jacinda in April 2025. The role was initially conceived to be short-term, but the actress made such a positive impression on producers that Jacinda — who had jetted off to Australia after Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Portia (Brook Kerr) paid her to drug Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) drink — was soon brought back to town.
Jacinda was quickly paired with Michael, and his portrayer, Rory Gibson, told Soap Opera Digest how much he enjoyed working with Herschell. “Paige is just incredible,” he said in a 2025 interview. “She is just a great actress, and on top of that, she’s a very, very kind person. She’s very real. When we were first introduced, [our rapport] felt chill and easy. She’s just a cool girl!”
In April, Herschell marked her one-year anniversary as Jacinda with another warm Instagram post. “Holy smokes! It’s been one year since Jacinda was introduced on @generalhospitalabc,” she marveled. I’m so grateful to this show for the work! Thank you to the amazing fans and the awesome cast and crew! One year! Holy moly! Jacinda- you continue to surprise me. 💕”
Digest confirmed that Herschell’s exit from the show was storyline-dictated.
