Kristian Alfonso

Growing up in Brockton, MA, Kristian Alfonso developed a passion for figure skating. She became a Junior Olympic Champion with bright prospects until an injury derailed her career. Alfonso pivoted to modeling, gracing the covers of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, then to acting, making her debut in The Star Maker, a 1981 TV movie. In 1983, she was cast as Hope Williams on Days of Our Lives. She has played the beloved heroine on and off ever since, and also starred on Falcon Crest as Pilar Ortega (1988-90).

For her work as Hope, she earned one Daytime Emmy nomination and won a special Fan Award alongside leading man Peter Reckell (Bo) as Favorite Couple in 2002, and has received four Soap Opera Digest Awards. Married to attorney Danny Daggenhurst since 2001, she has two sons, Jack and Gino, and a stepson, Spartan.
