Eric Martsolf
Eric Martsolf began his entertainment career singing and dancing at Hersheypark, an amusement venue near his hometown of Harrisburg, PA, during his breaks from Dickinson College. After receiving a political science degree, he ditched his plans to become an attorney and took his performing act on the road – singing on a cruise ship, landing a two-year stint at Dolly Parton’s Dollywood, and nabbing a four-year contract to play Pharaoh in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on a national tour.
With some 40 musicals and plays on his resumé, he landed a guest spot as a demon in hell on Passions in 2002, returning later that year to tackle the prominent role of Ethan Winthrop (replacing original portrayer Travis Schuldt). Martsolf remained with the soap until it ended in 2008 and was soon tapped to play Brady Black on Days of Our Lives. Once again, he was a major recast, this time replacing Kyle Lowder. His work as Brady earned him the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2014.
Martsolf has been married to professional dancer and choreographer Lisa Kouchak since 2003. They are proud parents to fraternal twin sons, Mason and Chase, who were born in 2006.
