Eileen Davidson, Michelle Stafford and Laura Wright have all won Lead Actress before (two times, in Davidson’s case, for her work both on Y&R and as Kristen DiMera on DAYS), while Nancy Lee Grahn, a two-time winner, received both of her statuettes in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category.
The Lead Actor category features three Daytime Emmy winners: Peter Bergman, Eric Martsolf and Greg Rikaart. Of the three, only Bergman has won before in this category, with Martsolf and Rikaart receiving their trophies in the Supporting Actor category. This is the second nomination for Telfer, who earned a nod as Supporting Actor in 2020, and the fifth for Zamprogna; he has three prior noms in the Supporting Actor race and one for Lead Actor.
