The week of January 26 promises plenty of drama on all of the soaps, and here are the top stories from General Hospital, Young and Restless, Bold and Beautiful, Days of Our Lives and Beyond the Gates that fans are not going to want to miss!
Beyond the Gates
For months now, Hayley (Marquita Goings) has been slowly poisoning her husband, Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett), and despite some close calls, has actually been getting away with it. But in this week’s BTG promo, Bill goes to the hospital for a checkup and receives some concerning test results when Madison (Kenjah) flags “an issue.” Stunned, Bill doesn’t understand what’s changed. “Are you kidding me?” he says. “I mean, there’s been no change for months. What are we talking about here?” Could these test results be related to the stroke he had in the spring, or has Madison found evidence of Hayley’s murder plot? Fans are getting as impatient as Hayley for some movement and this may be the week the story kicks into high gear!
Bold and Beautiful
Electra (Laneya Grace) has made it crystal clear to Dylan (Sydney Bullock) that she needs to keep her distance from Will (Crew Morrow), but in this week’s B&B spoilers video, it looks like while the cat’s away, the mouse will play! When Will’s girlfriend heads to San Francisco on a business trip, Dylan takes advantage of her absence to spend some more quality time with the guy… and she somehow ends up in his lap with his hand on her thigh! However, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is accompanying Electra instead of Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), which leaves Electra’s aunt able to keep an eye on the interloper. And when she swings by the beach house to check on Dylan and Will, she gets quite an eyeful! But will Ivy take matters into her own hands or wait until Electra returns to give her the heads up? No matter what happens, it seems like this will be a pivotal week in the show’s burgeoning young love triangle.
Days of Our Lives
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) has been the target of a terrifying stalker for months on DAYS, and this week’s teasers preview that she, Steve (Stephen Nichols), Jada (Elia Cantu), and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) cement a plan to lure the psycho out into the open and trap him. Unfortunately, the picture frame that the couple recently received as an engagement present did not come from EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) but from the stalker himself, and is secretly bugged. And, as seen in this week’s promo video, the bad guy can hear everything that they’re saying as they finalize their scheme. Is this plan doomed to fail, or might Steve still have an ace up his sleeve?
General Hospital
As shown in the GH spoilers video, a major blizzard is about to cripple Port Charles, and while Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is hoping to take advantage of it in her quest to get intel on what’s afoot at Wyndemere, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Lulu (Alexa Havins) are going to find themselves trapped together. Not only that, but this storm is going to put a serious wrinkle into Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) efforts to push Jason (Steve Burton) away for his own protection. In the promo, Britt is seen soaking wet and shivering as Jason cares for her, leading to a close moment between the two. Will the crisis forcing them together inspire Britt to finally confess her true feelings — and the real reason she’s been trying to distance herself — or will she remain ice cold towards the man she loves?
Young and Restless
For months now, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has been isolating herself from her friends and family in Genoa City as she punishes herself and experiences visions of Ian Ward (Ray Wise) urging her to take matters into her own hands. Now, this week’s Y&R teasers preview that Mariah explores her darker side and also that Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) find their lives thrown into turmoil. From this week’s spoilers video, we see that Abby is freaking out because Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark) is missing. Although Devon attempts to reassure his wife that everything will be okay and they will find their son, it’s clearly not going to be that easy. With Mariah’s visions of Ian (Ray Wise) inspiring her to “reclaim what is truly yours,” it seems a safe bet that things are going to get worse before they get better!
