Camryn Grimes

Camryn Grimes made her Young and Restless debut as Cassidy “Cassie” Newman at the age of 7. At 10, she became the youngest performer ever to win the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress. Grimes remained with the show until Cassie’s tragic demise in 2005, though she popped up several times as a spirit version of the character. Then, in 2014, she rejoined the Y&R cast as Cassie’s surprise twin, Mariah Copeland, earning another Daytime Emmy in 2018 as Outstanding Supporting Actress. Outside of soaps, Grimes appeared opposite Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry in the 2001 film Swordfish and has guest-starred on shows ranging from ER to NCIS. She married Brock Powell in 2025; their son, Bridger, was born in 2023.
