General Hospital Recap: Brook Lynn’s Secret is Exposed as Anna Pulls a Gun on Britt
On the Friday, September 4, episode of General Hospital, lives were on the line! Trina (Tabyana Ali) overheard Chase (Josh Swickard) confront Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) about Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) accident, Anna (Finola Hughes) lured Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) into a deadly trap, Outback started digging up the grave Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ava (Maura West) dug for Jack (Chris McKenna), Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and Rocco (Finn Carr) shared their first kiss and more. Here’s everything that happened.
Driver’s Education
The Quartermaines hosted a Labor Day weekend party. While prepping in the kitchen, Chase’s suspicions about Brook Lynn being the other driver in Jordan’s accident were further confirmed when Emma mentioned that Brook Lynn had arrived late to Charlie’s Pub and missed Trina and Gio’s first performance. When Lucy arrived, Chase informed her he was aware that she’d lied in the statement she gave the police about Willow and demanded a truthful account.
Elsewhere in the mansion, Trina asked Gio and Trina to sing at the party; Tracy, worried that Drew was going to backstab Michael, asked Jordan to keep a close eye on Drew now that he was working at Aurora; and Michael promised Kai that he’d protect him and Trina from any retaliation by Willow.
Later, Brook Lynn and Gio were having a warm mother/son moment when Lucy made an excuse about needing to leave. An angry Chase pulled Brook Lynn into the kitchen and confronted his wife with his theory that her car was on Route 91 at the time of Curtis and Jordan’s car crash, and she was covering for someone in the family. Brook Lynn promised to tell him everything after the party — but unbeknownst to the couple, Trina was just outside the terrace door and overheard it all.
In front of Tracy, Michael, Jordan, Kai, Gio, Emma, and Chase, Trina demanded to know if Brook Lynn was the driver who left her dad and Jordan on the side of the road!
Bite the Bullet
Jason ran into Anna at the shooting range and thought her behavior seemed odd. Anna then went out to the property she’d purchased from Sonny. After making sure the trunk she’d hidden in the brush contained all the necessary supplies to kill and dispose of Britt, Anna called Britt to meet her at Mount Emerson so she could share the information she had about Cassius’s death.
When Jason arrived at G.H. to pick up Britt for the Quartermaine party, Tristan told him she’d rushed off after receiving a call, mentioning that she needed to do something for her mother at Mount Emerson. Knowing Sonny had land there, Jason phoned his friend and learned that Sonny was selling a parcel to Anna. Worried, Jason tried to get in touch with Britt, but she kept declining his calls.
Finally, Britt found the isolated clearing where Anna was waiting for her and asked why they had to meet all the way out in the boondocks. Pulling a gun on Britt, Anna calmly replied, “So no one can hear you scream.”
Grandparents Day
Alexis had Sonny sign paperwork that officially terminated his and Jason’s business partnership. Rocco stopped by to pick up Sonny’s lasagna for the Quartermaine party, and when Scout entered behind him, Alexis was pleased to see her granddaughter for a few stolen minutes. However, the kids’ friendship had their grandparents concerned. Sonny cautioned Rocco to stay off Drew’s radar while Alexis advised Scout to be careful about doing anything that might anger her father.
After the kids left, Alexis groused that she was tired of the way Drew treated Scout. Sonny replied that with him and Jason out of the business, Drew wouldn’t have any more excuses to keep Scout from her family.
Fast and Furious
Drew informed Martin that his search of Jack Brennan’s hotel room came up empty, but he planned to stay out of the WSB chief’s way so any evidence against him would “stay buried.” Martin was skeptical that Jack would no longer be an issue, but Drew assured the attorney that he’d deal with it if something happened. Before leaving, Martin had Drew sign contracts to liquidate assets, so he’d have cash to outbid Sonny on Piers 55 and 56.
Drew then went to Scout’s bedroom to surprise her with tickets to a baseball game, only to realize that his daughter snuck out. After checking Scout’s location on his phone, a furious Drew hightailed it to Sonny’s house, where he banged on the door and demanded to see his daughter.
Sealed With a Kiss
After dropping off the lasagna at the main house, Rocco and Scout picked up Outback and went to the boathouse for one last swim in the lake before the summer ended. While the teens were swimming, Outback ran off to the nature preserve, where she began digging up Jack’s grave. Meanwhile, after confiding in one another about how comfortable and happy they felt around the other, Rocco and Scout shared their first kiss.
Ticked Off
After extracting the tick from Ava’s head, Isaiah suspected it might be a Lone Star tick, a species never before reported in Port Charles County. When he asked Ava how she thought she got it, she lied and said she had no idea. Ava panicked when Isaiah said he’d have to notify the public health department and the CDC because of the diseases that the tick carried, but was relieved to learn that since it had been less than 24 hours, the possibility of her being infected was slim. However, Isaiah was adamant that Ava retrace her steps so they could determine where she picked up the parasite.
