Can’t Escape the Past
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is determined to make Vibrante a success, but there’s still something she needs from its previous owner, Audra (Zuleyka Silver), before that can happen. “How much do you want for the patents?” Victoria asks her over drinks at Society. However, Audra knows the value of what she possesses and isn’t about to give it up so easily. “You’re going to have to give me something much more interesting than just money,” Audra counters. What might Audra be after, and is it a price Victoria is willing to pay?
Jack (Peter Bergman) wasn’t crazy about Billy’s (Jason Thompson) plan to take over Chancellor, but now that his brother seems to have abandoned that plan, he makes him another offer. “I am prepared to offer up a small fortune to prove how much I believe in you,” Jack informs Billy. “I’m talking about starting a whole new company that is all yours.” But would Billy be interested in building something from the ground up instead?
Nick (Joshua Morrow) stepped in when it appeared that Marie (Jade Harlow) had accidentally killed her husband when their argument turned physical. Thankfully, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) is available to pay a visit to the rehab facility and help take care of things. “You okay?” the attorney asks. Nick grunts, “Yeah,” before giving Michael a hug. “Thank you,” he adds. “Thank you for making sure that finally something went right.”
Matt (Roger Howarth) is stunned when he opens the door to his motel room and Patty (Stacy Haiduk) strides in, doffing her hat and sunglasses to check her appearance in the mirror. “Patty, what are you doing here?” he asks, annoyed. “How did you get out?” Given that the last time they spoke, Patty was safely behind bars, it’s a natural question, but not one she wants to answer. “Look, if I told you, I’d have to kill you,” she jokes… or maybe she’s not joking?
