It’s Always Darkest Before the Dawn
Tracy (Jane Elliot) has been trying to help Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) deal with the fallout after she confessed to hiding the fact that she was the other driver on the road the night of Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) car crash. Sitting opposite someone at the Metro Court Gardens, Tracy tells them, “You can convince him to forgive her.” But who is Tracy speaking with, and whose forgiveness is she hoping to obtain for her granddaughter?
Back at home, Brook Lynn is still holding out hope that she can salvage her marriage to Chase (Josh Swickard). “I might have a way to fix it,” she suggests to her husband. But is Chase even willing to entertain anything she has to say?
Ava (Maura West) has been paranoid that her involvement in disposing of Jack’s (Chris McKenna) body will come out, but Drew (Cameron Mathison) assures her she has nothing to worry about. “I promise you, they’re not gonna be looking in your direction,” he gloats. Will Drew tell Ava how he set up her gal pal, Nina (Cynthia Watros), to take the fall?
Nina and Sonny (Maurice Benard) have remained civil since their split, and he’s got some sage words of advice for his former wife. “Every truce is an opportunity to reload,” he declares. Is he offering her help with her ongoing conflict with Drew or her new issues with the WSB?
When Anna (Finola Hughes) shouts, “Go after her,” she’s likely urging Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to chase down Carly (Laura Wright), who must have beaten a hasty retreat after interrupting the pair in an emotional conversation. Which way will Valentin turn?
