The General Hospital spoilers video for the week of September 14 previews chaos erupting in Port Charles as the investigation into Jack’s (Chris McKenna) disappearance leads to a shocking arrest!
Crime Doesn’t Pay
Molly (Kristen Vaganos) has returned from her book tour and sits down with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for a catch-up. “What’d I miss?” she asks her mother cheerily. “How are things?” But Alexis’s smile is a bit more rueful. “Oh, they’re not good,” she replies, shaking her head. “Not good at all.” Molly’s face falls, wondering what new disaster she’s come home to.
A pair of gloved hands are seen holding Jack Brennan’s wallet — the one that Drew (Cameron Matihson) planted in Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) car — as Ava (Maura West) warns Drew, “A man like Brennan doesn’t just disappear.” Are they regretting their decision to bury Jack’s body in the woods near the Quartermaine estate?
Stepping in for Jack as the acting WSB chief, Agent Baines (Alimi Ballard) is on the case and determined to find out what really happened to his predecessor. “I have some questions for you,” he says as images of Drew, Nina, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Sonny (Maurice Benard), and Ava flash across the screen. But who is Baines questioning?
Next, we hear Ava finish her thought as she asks, “How exactly are we going to deal with that?” But there’s no response from Drew in this promo. Is their unlikely partnership beginning to fall apart under the weight of covering up their crimes?
Finally, Baines is at the Metro Court Gardens, ruining someone’s meal by coldly informing them, “You’re under arrest.” Was Carly (Laura Wright) successful in pointing the finger at Nina? Or has the evidence led to someone else’s detainment?
