General Hospital Comings & Goings: Grady Eldridge Cast as Music Executive Simon

Comments

Simon, the new music executive on General Hospital, is being played by Grady Eldridge in his daytime debut. The actor will make his first appearance in the recurring role in the episode airing on Wednesday, July 15.

Who Is Simon on General Hospital?

Simon is an A&R rep from a music label responsible for scouting promising new talent for his record label and will be involved in Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) storyline on GH.

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has been setting up a musical showcase so that Trina can sing for some music industry execs with Gio accompanying her on guitar, and Simon enters the storyline as the showcase takes place.

GH’s Simon will be Eldridge’s first daytime role, but the actor has already racked up numerous credits in prime time series like Doctor Odyssey, The Sex Lives of College Girls, Friendzoned, and Hacks. He also had an uncredited role as Max in the recently released Netflix movie Office Romance starring Jennifer Lopez.

GH’s New Cast Additions

Simon is just one of the new faces set to appear this month. Dean Geyer made his debut as Dr. Tristan Roberts on July 13 and immediately began clashing with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). By the end of July, Troy Lennon Appel will first appear as Hudson, a mysterious businessman with an agenda.

Some new faces will also be taking over previously established characters on GH in the coming weeks. Kayden Brenna Tokarski will begin playing an aged-up Scout Cain this month, while Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, Young and Restless) will soon be stepping into the shoes of Serena Baldwin, last played by Carly Schroeder.
