Days of Our Lives Spoilers Promo Video: ‘Oh, Mom, I’ve Missed You So Much’
The Past Is on Trial
The action in this Days of Our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of August 4 begins in the courtroom as Judge Dabney (Karole Foreman) demands “order” as the trial to determine Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) guilt or innocence continues in the case of the attempted murder of EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). Johnny and his father EJ, also his lawyer, enter the room as District Attorney Belle Black (Martha Madison) appears stunned. “Your honor, Ms. Black has a major conflict of interest,” EJ can be heard saying over a scene of him kissing Belle. The DA is irate. “This is absurd,” Belle states while EJ interrupts her with his demand: “I call for an immediate mistrial.” Johnny appears visibly exasperated by his father’s underhanded tactics.
The Future Hangs in the Balance
At the DiMera mansion, Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna (Leann Hunley) stare at Stefano’s portrait. Anna tells Tony, “She claims your father’s alive.” Tony laughs as the woman in question — Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) — is seen looking clearly troubled that no one seems to believe her claim about Stefano.
Old Feelings?
Over at the Bistro, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) enters with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and is stunned to spy Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) at a table kissing Xander (Paul Telfer), prompting a flare of jealousy to emerge. “You can spend time doing whatever you want. So can I,” she says before grabbing Brady for a kiss. Xander, not to be outdone, reveals that Sarah isn’t the only one consumed by jealousy.
And Justice…
The scene switches back to the court battle as Johnny’s mother-in-law, the mayor, Paulina (Jackée Harry), takes the stand. “Johnny said his father got what he deserved,” Paulina recounts as the weight of her statement is immediately felt by both EJ and Johnny.
Isn’t the Only Thing Making a Comeback
At Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) townhouse, she’s going through a folder for work when she realizes she’s not alone. “Sami,” Marlena says with a relieved breath. “Oh, Mom, I’ve missed you so much,” Sami (Alison Sweeney) tells her as she pulls Marlena into a long, emotional hug.
