The Young and the Restless Spoilers Video: ‘This Is Going To Be a Battle’
The Young and the Restless spoilers video for the week of September 28 previews happy anticipation, suspicious behavior, and a renewed rivalry.
Declaration of War
Seeing Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) dining out at Society, Abby (Melissa Ordway) stops by their table to check on the expectant parents. “I heard you two are waiting to find out if the baby’s a boy or a girl,” she says excitedly. But the way her uncle replies, “Yeah,” and steals a glance with Sally makes Abby realize the truth. “You know already, don’t you?” she exclaims. But will Billy and Sally let Abby in on their secret or make her wait with everyone else until they welcome their child?
Over at the GCAC, Nick (Joshua Morrow) waits until Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is alone at her table before he approaches. “What was that about?” he asks. Playing innocent, Phyllis responds, “What was what about?” But the man that Nick saw her with has raised his concerns — and this time, it’s not Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). “You and Cane [Billy Flynn],” Nick says, before demanding, “Phyllis, what are you up to?”
Diane (Susan Walters) has assured Jack (Peter Bergman) that she is treating the Jabot/Vibrante rivalry as strictly business and not making it personal, but her conversation with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) at Society makes it clear that isn’t really the case. “I am more than capable of defending what’s mine,” Diane warns.
Reading between the lines, Nikki asks, “Are we still talking about your company?” Knowing full well Diane is still threatened by her ongoing friendship with Jack and funneling that jealousy into taking down her new company, Nikki answers her own question. “I didn’t think so,” she says before warning Diane, “This is going to be a battle.” But who will come out on top?
