Stepping Up
Joe (Jonathan Bennett) interrupts Lucas (Van Hansis) at work to ask him some questions about a case the PCPD is currently investigating. “I think you know more about Brennan’s [Chris McKenna] disappearance than you realize,” the detective insists to his roommate. But what does Joe think Lucas can tell him to help track down the missing WSB station chief?
Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Michael (Rory Gibson) are on a private plane flying to Europe so she can meet with the doctors at the Baden-Baden Clinic about facial reconstruction surgery. But while chatting during their trip, Michael makes a comment that Jordan quickly refutes. “With all due respect,” she declares, “that’s a total cop-out.” What is she calling Michael out on?
Lucy (Lynn Herring) has been hoping to use Serena (Kelly Kruger) to regain control of Deception, but things haven’t been going particularly well. And whatever Lucy is proposing now, Serena is definitely not on board. “There’s a pretty big problem with your ‘perfect’ plan,” she warns her mother.
Having left the mob behind, Jason (Steve Burton) is forging a new life and is taking the first steps towards working at the family business. Unfortunately, there are some stumbling blocks in his way. “I’m the head of ELQ,” Ned (Wally Kurth) reminds Jason. “You’re answering to me now.” Is Jason really cut out for the business world?
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was hopeful that she and Chase (Josh Swickard) could repair their marriage, but her husband has made it clear he doesn’t think that’s possible anymore. “I don’t know how much more of this I can take,” Brook Lynn cries to Tracy (Jane Elliot). Might the Quartermaine matriarch have some words of wisdom to help her granddaughter through this difficult time?
