Beyond the Gates Star Announces Pregnancy
Beyond the Gates star Jen Jacob (Ashley) is pregnant! The actress and her singer/songwriter husband, Jesse Ruben, are expecting a baby girl due in March 2027.
Jen Jacob is Pregnant
Jacob, who has played Ashley Morgan on Beyond the Gates since its premiere in February 2025, made the announcement with a joint post with Ruben on Instagram. Alongside a photo of her sonogram hanging on their fridge, they wrote, “Mom & Dad have entered the chat. Baby girl coming March 2027 🩷.”
The exciting news comes just five days after Jacob and Ruben celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary, a milestone Jacob also toasted on her Instagram account. She shared a carousel of photos from the big day with the caption, “8 years. It had to be you. ✨”
Jacob is the first Beyond the Gates cast member to announce a real-life pregnancy. There is no word yet about whether her pregnancy will be written into the storyline of character, Ashley, who is romantically linked to Greyson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso). If it is, it would be the first baby for Ashley, as well.
The comment section of Jacob’s post was filled with congratulations and well wishes from her Beyond the Gates castmates.
Karla Mosley (Dani) — herself a mom to two daughters, Aurora, 8, and Willa, 5 — declared, “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ love love LOVE – there aren’t enough hearts in the world,” and Jacob replied, “we’re so lucky we’re learning from you and @hh_john_djoser_r [Mosley’s partner, John Rogers] !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole), who has four children of her own, beamed, “💕💕can’t wait for our newest family member!!!!”
Colby Nixon (Kat) chimed in with, “Woohooo! Can’t wait 😍❤️.” Jacob responded, “can’t wait for aunt Colby ❤️❤️.”
“I’m gonna be an auntieeeee!! Yasss!♥️,” trilled Arielle Prepetit (Naomi).
