General Hospital Recap: Sonny Plots to Stop Josslyn as Trina’s Stalker Makes a Bold Move
On General Hospital on Tuesday, October 13, the fallout from Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) winning bid for the piers trickled throughout Port Charles. As she and Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) celebrated their victory, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ric (Rick Hearst) plotted to stop her, while Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) had an idea to help Carly’s (Laura Wright) daughter. Plus, Lulu (Alexa Havins) was sued for libel, Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) obsessed fan made a bold move, and more. Here’s everything that happened.
Victory Lap
After Josslyn was announced as the winner of the piers, Carly and Valentin hightailed it out of the conference room rather than stick around for the fallout. Sonny and Ric faced off against Josslyn and Hudson, with Sonny accusing Josslyn of not being prepared to handle the danger that came with owning the piers. She demanded she sell the piers to him, but Josslyn refused and declared that JJE would develop something productive at the waterfront before storming out.

Back in Hudson’s hotel suite, Josslyn was delighted when he reported that Sonny had been the high bidder before they swooped in. Hudson also shared his disdain for slimy guys like Ric. The two then celebrated their victory with a pricey bottle of champagne (which Josslyn noted was one of Jax’s favorites) as Hudson toasted to the “one-woman army who will leave Corinthos in the rubble.”
Sneak Attack
Furious they’d lost the auction, Sonny and Ric retreated to Sonny’s house, where they theorized that Josslyn’s desire to go after him was why she shifted from the WSB to running JJE. Sonny said that he’d always love Josslyn but wouldn’t sit back and let her destroy him. Rather than go after Josslyn directly, Sonny determined they needed information on Hudson, since he might be the key to stopping Josslyn before it was too late.

Helping Hands
In Carly’s office, she mused to Valentin that Josslyn bought the piers to take Sonny down. Valentin commended Carly for not trying to run interference between Sonny and Josslyn, even though he felt Joss had bitten off more than she could chew.
Carly told Valentin that she’d asked Anna to mentor Josslyn, and that she thought it was a good idea for him to join Anna in her therapy sessions. He’d not only be helping Anna, but himself, Carly pointed out. Valentin agreed to reach out to Anna.
As their conversation turned back to Josslyn and the danger she’d likely face as the new owner of the piers, Valentin suggested that he might have a way to help her daughter.

Serving Face
Dante told Lulu that Sidwell claimed to have no recollection of making the statements in her article because he’d been heavily medicated and was saying that his quotes in The Invader were inaccurate.
Elizabeth then showed up and confronted Lulu about interviewing her and Lucas under false pretenses. Lulu defended her article, and Liz demanded to know how Lulu got into Sidwell’s room in the first place since she’d instructed her to leave the patient alone. Maintaining that she’d had Sidwell’s consent, Lulu apologized to Liz but questioned why she wasn’t outraged by what Willow, a congresswoman, had done and wondered what else Willow was guilty of.

Liz and Dante both warned Lulu to be careful with her accusations against Willow, but she was adamant that the mystery drug connected Drew and Jack’s strokes. Dante urged her to retract the article, but Lulu refused since she had a recording of her interview with Sidwell, and Elizabeth confirmed that her quotes were accurate. Just as Lulu declared she was going to write a follow-up, a process server rang the doorbell, and Lulu learned that Willow was suing her for libel.
Stan’d Up
Someone watched through the window of the Cat’s Eye Lounge as Trina greeted Ava and Kai. Ava hid her guilt when Trina shared that the family was hopeful Curtis could be moved to Spring Ridge, a lower-security facility, once he was released from G.H.

Quinn arrived, later than he was expected, and questioned if Kai minded how close Trina and Gio were, but Kai wasn’t worried about the pair’s bond. Meanwhile, Trina was encouraging to Emma about her plan to move in with Gio, noting she and Spencer had talked about cohabiting. “Take the leap,” she affirmed. “Because life doesn’t always give you a second chance.”
After Trina and Gio sang, Kai and Quinn complimented their performance, and Emma presented Trina with a bouquet of roses that had been left outside from her “biggest fan.” Trina assumed the flowers were from Kai, and when he joked that she had another biggest fan, Quinn gazed at Trina.
Drew met up with Ava, who reiterated that Trina could never know they were behind the beating at Pentonville that got Curtis hurt. Drew informed Ava that he planned to deny everything in Lulu’s article to avoid drawing attention to Brennan’s disappearance. He also told her that both he and Sonny lost the piers auction to Josslyn, and Ava and Drew realized Joss might take care of bringing down Sonny for them.
